"Cel... Cel... nasasakal mo na ko. Cel..."

Jake heard his best friend snort but it wasn't from laughing.

"Sorry," she said but she still tightened her hold on his tie and redoes it again like she did for about four times now.

Jake understands how emotional she is today. He is too, but he promised his girl he won't cry like a sissy.

At hindi talaga siya iiyak sa harap ng kahit kanino because he knows Cain has his camera ready.

He already endured endless teasing from the guys for the past month.

"Alam mo dapat nasa bride ka eh," Jake chuckled. "Kaya ko naman dito."

Celeste snorts again, her eyes filling up with tears now. "Hindi..."

"We talked about this," Jake sighed but then he smiled. "Mag babayad ang iiyak."

"Kaya kong mag bayad. Mayaman ako at ang asawa ko."

"Edi ikaw na rich!"

Instead of laughing, Celeste bursted in tears. "I'm just so happy for you!"

Jake managed to let out a chuckle kahit na bigla siyang nasakal ni Celeste. Nahigpitan nito ng sobra ang tie niya dala ng emosyon.

"I know."

Everyone is. Even Jake himself felt like he's soaring over rainbows these past months of being engaged and now the time finally came for them.

He's getting married to the love of his life today.

Nothing can ruin this for him.

Ilang minuto rin niyang pinatahan si Celeste. Sinilip na rin sila ni Mason, checking if things are alright and he shooed him away for a moment.

"Hindi na joke 'to, Jake." Celested said pagkatapos nito i-iyak ang lahat. "This is the real deal. Naniniwala na ko sa'yo."

Nung sinagot kasi siya ni Rianne maraming di naniniwala. Including his very own best friend. Nakakaloko diba?

Everyone thought he was delusional. Well, he thought he was crazy that time too because he started at her beautiful face for a full minute after she agreed to be his girlfriend.

Inaasar pa siya nila Sen na baka joke lang daw ni Rianne iyon. Baka nagka mali lang siya ng rinig. Baka pinag titripan lang siya or something.

Pati nga si Yna, tinawanan lang siya.

Alam niyang nang aasar lang ang mga ito at naasar naman siya sa totoo lang. But he knew, deep down their wicked souls, they were all happy for him.

"Oy! May manglilibre mamaya!" Cain exclaimed as he sautered in with Sen and Mase.

Celeste shot daggers at him. "May reception pa, wag ka ngang patay gutom."

"Grabe ka talaga sa'kin, Cece. Ngayon na nga lang ulit tayo nag kita."

"Quit fighting, children." Sen butts in with a smirk.

"I'll head to the girls' dressing room," paalam ni Celeste kay Jake.

Bago pa man ito lumabas, she stuck her tongue out at Cain.

Mason and Senri just shook their heads in unision.

"You okay, bro?" Mason asked nang sila nalang ang natira.

"Yeah," Jake tried to smile. Yes... he's okay but the worry is still there.
