My mom held Normani while my dad held Alaska.
Their heads turned to me and they gave me weak smiles.
"Ma...ma" Normani scrambled off of my mothers lap and waddled over to me.
I picked her up, "hey baby girl." I whispered giving her a kiss.
She drooled down my shirt when she leaned into me.
I laughed, "I already took my shower." I sat her back down to her feet.
"We going to the park." Alaska announced.
"Oh yeah? Well I guess I'll just have to go to the store all by myself with no one to go with." I pulled the wounded card.
"Go with grandma!" She laughed. But I didn't find it funny.
I found it far from funny. "No thanks."
"Grandma, go with her so you can buy me some chips." She covered her mouth so that I couldn't hear her but she's two so she can't whisper.
"Fineee." She dramatically groaned but got up anyways. "I'll go for you."

"Are you still seeing Camila?"
I ignored her. She didn't deserve to know after she believed the lie she was told.
"Or are you still seeing Ally? Maybe Lauren?"
"You actually still believe her? I didn't cheat on her! "
"So you cut her?"
"I didn't do that either! The girl she was messing around with did that to her."
"Camila would never cheat on you. She loves you."
"If she loved me, she wouldn't have nearly beat me to death in front of my son!"
Everything was silent. I entered the store and picked up two bags of Cheetos and two blue raspberry juices.
I gave the clerk two dollars and continued on my way back to Seth's house.
I could almost cry when I walked into his apartment to see Camila standing there with Normani in her arms.
She turned to me and smiled. "Hey beautiful."
I took Normani out of her arms, "What are you doing here?"
"I'm obviously here to take you home. I was worried about you."
"Mommy hits mama. I saw." I looked behind Camila to see Alaska talking to Seth.
"Mama is afraid sometimes and the other day, mommy was hitting Troye. He was crying."
I found myself ignoring Camila and walked over to the door way.
"I get scared sometimes. Mommy scared me the other day." She put the Jenga block on top of the others and smiled, "your turn."
"Do you want to come live with me?" She instantly nodded but frowned.
"Will you save mama and Mani too?"
"Of course, I love them both." I smiled at that.
"Come on cutie, we have to go." Alaska pouted,
"But mama, I don't wanna go."
"We have to baby. Let's go."
She stomped her feet and began kicking her legs in a tantrum way.
"Please don't do this. Let's just go."
She began yelling and screaming.
I felt the tears in my eyes, and I quickly turned away.
"I'll keep her if you want. You can pick her up whenever."
I turned to him, "you'd do that for me?"
He nodded, "you changed my diapers, it's the least I can do."
I smiled and pulled him into a hug, "I love you little brother."
He pushed me away and rolled his eyes, "I love you too. Now get out of my face."
I turned to Alaska, "I'll see you soon, okay? Please be good for uncle Seth. I love you."
"I love you too mama." She gave me a kiss on my forehead.
Normani, Camila, and I walked to her car. I strapped Normani into her car seat and shut the door, getting into the passenger seat.
"Seatbelt first sweetheart."
I rolled my eyes and buckled my seatbelt.
