What was I thinking?! He'll never notice me. I shouldn't have put myself out there, but I did.

Here's what I did. My crush hadn't noticed me, so I thought clothes would. I wore the shortest pair of shorts I owned, and a tank top. It's comletely not my personality and I wish I hadn't done it, but I did. Now every guy is staring at me like I'm the new girl. I do look completely different though, so I don't blame them. I replaced my glasses with contacts. I left my hair down in curls. I have to admit I am looking better than usual, but its not me. 

When I was turning a corner, someone grabbed my arm and pulled me into a closet. I was going to scream, but then I heard his voice. "What are you doing Katie?", he asked. "Ponyboy?", I asked confused. "Yeah, now answer my question", he said. "I don't know what your talking about", I said. "What's with the new wardrobe change?", he asked. "Well, i thought it would get someone's attention", i answered. I couldn't just tell him he was my crush. "Well whoever your trying to impress must suck if they didn't realize how great you looked before", Pony said. "You don't suck", I blurted out before I could stop myself.

Pony looked surprised. "Your trying to impress me?", he asked, sounding shocked. Alls I could do was nod. "Well you didn't have to go through all this. You could have just talked to me", he said. "Well if you haven't noticed, I'm a bit shy", I said. "I can see that. That's why this look doesn't go for you. Why don't we go find you something better to wear", He suggested. I smiled. "Sure. Why not."
