For Legitsatan

I am a drag racer. I love the thrill of it. There is nothing better than feeling the wind in your face as you whip around the track at top speeds. I know its dangerous, but thats what makes it fun. I havent told any of my friends, but Two. He has always kept my secrets, so I thought I could trust him with this one. I especially didn't want my boyfriend Soda to know. He would worry too much. I had another race tonight. I told Soda I was going to my friends house. Tonight, I was going to win.

Two-Bits pov

I sat at the Curtis' house watching tv, waiting for Darry to make dinner, so I didn't have to go eat at my mothers. Soda sat on the other couch with Steve, moping. He missed (Y/N). She was racing tonight, but I wasn't allowed to tell anyone.

"I wish (Y/N) was here", he said dreamily. "Yup, but she's busy", I muttered, focused on the tv. They looked over at me. "What do you mean she's busy? She's at her friends house", Soda said. My eyes widened a little as I realized what I said. "Right right. I forgot", I said, trying to play it off.

They got up and came over to me. I knew they could tell I was hiding something. "What's (Y/N) doing tonight Two?", Steve asked. "She is at her friend's house like you said", I stammered. "No no. What is she really doing?", Soda asked. The argument attracted the attention of the other guys. "What are you hiding Two?", Dallas smirked. He loved watching others suffer. So rude of him.

Finally, I broke down. (Y/N) wouldn't be happy about this. "Ok ok ok!", I yelled. I jumped off the couch. "(Y/N) is down at the drag race! She's competeing!", I added as Soda's eyes widened. "Why wouldn't you tell us this Two? She could get hurt!", Soda yelled at me. "I'm not going to tell (Y/N) what she can and can't do", I said. Then I walked out going home. I knew I would get an earful from (Y/N) tomorrow.

Sodas pov

I can't believe (Y/N) didn't tell me. Of course I wouldn't let her compete anymore, but still. The boys and I minus Two ran to the car to go to the track. We got there just as the race started. I was upset that I couldnt get there to stop (Y/N), but I saw her car. It was blue, my favorite color. I smiled a little, but realized I was angry. Eventually, I was cheering so loud that Im surprised (Y/N) didnt hear me.

The race stopped and (Y/N) won. She jumped out of her car and jumped up and down excitedly. She grabbed her trophy and screamed in excitement. She turned and locked eyes with me. Her eyes widened and she looked like she had seen a ghost. I felt bad that she was so terrified of me finding out. She turned and made a run for it, trying to avoid conversation. I took off after her, pushing confused people out of my way. I grabbed her wrist once I caught her. She tried to resist, but I was way stronger than her.

"Hey hey. Im not mad", i said. She stopped struggling and looked at me. "Your not?", she asked. "Ok, maybe im a little mad, but only cause you didnt tell me. You were great out there. I love you", i said. My eyes widened as I realized what I said. Her eyes lit up. She hugged me tightly. "I love you too!", she said. I couldnt be any happier than I am right now.
