Too Sweet

Ally's POV

I can't believe it's already been 2 months since I've left Liam in London - time has gone surprisingly fast. I guess school has helped with that, but I honestly thought time would drag on for forever. Having Lily going through it with me has helped a bunch too. We can rant to each other about missing our boyfriends and how no one else we are friends with gets it. But still...all I want to do sometimes is just wrap my arms tightly around Liam and never let go. Instead, I have to force myself into my school work. Preparing for my A-levels is no joke - and I'm still wondering if I even want to go to university and if it's worth taking them. Mum says they are, but part of me doesn't believe her.

Speaking of Mum, I've been spending loads of time with her over the last 2 months. We cook together, watch movies, and she's even been helping me with my science classes. She's also been helping with all of the missing Liam and being long-distance with him.

As I'm sitting in my room and doing my homework with the radio playing in the background, I hear a soft knock on my door, to which I reply, "Come in."

Mum pokes her head in with a small smile on her face. "Hi, love," she says, walking in and sitting down on my bed next to me. "How's the work going?"

"It's going," I sigh, placing my pencil down. "Do I really have to take my A-levels?"

"Yes," she chuckles. "You really have to stop asking about that."

"Hey, I've already taken some," I say. "Can't I just use those?"

"No," she says, shaking her head.

The radio host suddenly catches my attention, saying, "So, what would you like to hear today, lucky caller?"

"I would like to hear Little Things by One Direction," the caller says. Wait...I know that voice.

"You got it, sir," the host says. "Is this for anyone special?"

"Um, actually, yes," he replies. "This is for my girlfriend, Ally."

Liam....My face breaks into a smile as the host says, "How sweet! Ally here is Little Things by One Direction from your boyfriend. Enjoy!"
