Chapter Sixteen

Naeva's Point of View

I had just woken up, only to see Amara just laying on the floor and looking at the ceiling. She was dressed in a black and white polka dot dress and had on some black shoes. I don't know where she got the clothes, but I won't ask.

"Took you long enough to wake up, sleeping beauty," she said, without taking her gaze off of the ceiling.

"Awe, you think I'm pretty?" I said in a baby voice.

"Of course you're beautiful, seeing as I'm part of you. Duh," she replied back in an obvious tone. "Anyways, today you're going to be introduced to the pack, so hurry up get ready," she continued.

So I went into the bathroom and did everything necessary, then got dressed into a similar polka dot dress, except mine was red and white and had a belt around the waist. Then I just tied my hair up into a high ponytail and put on some red flats. 

As soon as I was done, there was  a knock on the door.

"Come in," I yelled.

"Everyone is already waiting outside. You slept for a very long time. So let's get going," Jake said, while he walked in. 

"And who's this little one?" He asked, gesturing to Amara, who was still laying on the floor.

"That's Amara," I said. 

"Okay, let's get going, don't want to keep everyone waiting any longer," he said, while he lead the way.

Once we were reached outside, there was plenty of people. The pack is even larger than I thought it was.

Then I saw Magnus standing on a makeshift stage in a suit and let me just say, he is looking gorgeous. How did I not notice how handsome he was before. 

'Because you're stupid,' I heard Amara say in my head. I swear, I just want to rip her to shreds. 'Heard that,' she said in an amused tone. 

When we made our way onto the stage, I could hear everyone whispering about who they think Amara is. 

When we were on stage, we walked over to Magnus.

"As everyone may know, Naeva has been staying here for a few days. I have made her a member of the pack without the ceremony, because she didn't have her wolf at the time," he said, while looking at everyone.

"She has just gotten her wolf. And in case you are wondering who this little girl is, this is Amara, her daughter."

When he was done, almost everyone had a shocked or confused expression on their face, while they were still processing the information.

"Everyone will treat her the same. So that's all, since I have a meeting to attend to," he said while making his way off the stage.

I quickly got off the stage and saw Asia waving at me, so I made my way over to her, with Amara following behind me. 

"Hey!" She said, over excited.

"Hi."

"Want to go to the pool?"

"Sure."

Once we were at the pool, Asia said," I didn't know you had a daughter." Yeah, I didn't know I had one either. Amara was just laughing in my head.

"What's your name sweetie," Asia asked her in a kind voice, while kneeling in front of her.

Amara just looked at her with no emotion on her face and didn't respond.

"Her name is Amara. She doesn't talk much," I said.

Then a group of girls with with so much make up on their faces came towards us. Then one of them with dyed blonde hair said," well, well, well, what do we have here?"
