There was no reply after that. My phone didn't beep or vibrate after that. I laid in bed sleepless, telling myself he'd run out of credit. But then the haunting reminder that Corey had unlimited text and could text me whenever he wanted. And right now he didn't want to. And that hurt.

There was a million things I could've said that probably wouldn't hurt him. But if I know Corey, I ripped his heart out and put it in a shredder the burnt it and expected him to put all the ashes back to how it was before.
