Sapphire POV

Its been like a month since the break. I was just dropping of the grid, I literately I went to school I hated it because he was right next to me almost every class. But texted the girls they tried to talk to him about it, he wanted me to talk to him about it. I left school I went to make that promise I made to my dad he picked me up from school and took me to the studio. I started, basically I did a draft of the song when I was more upset about it.

I wrote this when I was more upset about the situation. We where finished with it my dad hugged me and he went to the radio station and got them to play it everyone was loving it, relatable probably. I didn't really care about that I was going to talk to ruby today, I got in my car my song was playing on basically every station. I pulled up to Ruby's house his car was there so I knocked on the door his mother greeted me "Hello,Where is ruby?" I asked her "He's playing basketball in the back." She responded I nodded and walked out back. He was playing by himself I got self guilt, I stood there making decisions on what I was gonna say. He saw me "I heard your song. Do you do it for me?" He asked "No I just wanted to get my emotions out so I could talk to you." I responded he stopped playing and looked at me "Look Sapphire you hurt me and do I want to get back together ... Yes but I can't get over what you did." He said in a muffled angry tone. "I don't even know what I did, but I think I know what I did but tell me because I was drunk." I replied "I don't know but I saw you eating this random guys face..."He paused. "And you probably had sex with him or another guy." He mumbled he was basically calling me a girl who cant handle her liquor, and a slut I cringed at his statement."I'm sorry.... I don't really drink that much because I do regretful things... When I do it" I stopped I was on the verge of tears he walked towards me and gave me a hug. "Its okay I'm here, I will always be here... Sometime its hard not to love you. " He whispered in my ear. " Love you too." I Replied in a whisper. "Hey I have a confession to make, I drank last night." He said pulling away from the hug "It doesn't matter... The promise that is our relationship was broken, so that can be thrown out the door." I sheepishly replied "Don't be shy if you can make a song about me, and put it on the radio. But then can't talk too me, something is wrong." He jokingly said. " Ah so you wanna go on a date?" I nodded "Wait do you wanna come too the studio with me?" I asked him he nodded I walked to my car its a Lincoln eh new one but its not flashy. I drove to the studio and walked in, "wanna hear your favorite track in the making...not gonna release it until college." I questioned he nodded I played the draft He Keeps Me Warm he started to hmm. "You wanna sing some?" I asked he smiled "I can't sing... Well I can but I'm not very good." He responded I pulled him in the recoding booth I grabbed the lyrics and showed him his lyrics. The mixer was ready ruby was nervous, I gave him a kiss he smiled and started to sing the lyrics when he finished he gave me a kiss back and did a little dance.  He mixed played it back and he was in with it.

Ruby POV

Its been a month since the break... I miss her, and her telling the girls about what happened just made me mad. I sat in my car turned on the radio trying to drift off into the tempo/beats. Then a voice... I recognized it instantly Sapphire was singing, about me I started to drive home parked the car outside and finished listening to the song the DJ said the song was new. I cringed because I knew it was about me, I changed into some basketball clothes and went to the basketball court and started to play. Basketball was and is my passion it what I do when I'm down... Even my best friends get worried about me now I heard foot steps I glaced and it was Sapph she wasn't saying anything but she was thinking, she bites her lip when she thinks. I find it... sexy I could help that thought.. "I heard your song. Do you do it for me?" I asked "No I just wanted to get my emotions out so I could talk to you." She responded I stopped playing and looked at her "Look Sapphire you hurt me and do I want to get back together ... Yes but I can't get over what you did." The mixer was ready I was nervous, she gave him a kiss I smiled, I got confidence and started to sing the lyrics when I finished, I gave me a kiss back and did a little dance. The mixer played it back and hey that's pretty good meme just flashed in my head.
