Alan's POV

I groaned when the bedroom light was flicked on. I rolled myself into the pillows trying to block it out.

"Get up you two, we have church in an hour." Jane told us and shut our door on the way out.

"No." I whined.

"Alan, just get up," Kellin mumbled.

"I don't want to."

"I don't care."

"I don't have anything to wear."

"Wear something of mine then," Kellin said and yawned.

"Do I really need to go? I'm sick." I said and faked a cough.

"You're not sick," Kellin said and I felt him rip my blankets away. "Get up."

I glared at him but got up nonetheless.

"Now what do you want to wear?" He asked going to his closet.

I shrugged, "Something that's churchy."

"I could give you a dress," He hummed looking through his closet.

"No thanks."

Kellin rolled his eyes and threw a pair of jeans and a button up shirt at me, "There."

"You're the best."

"I know I am," He remarked and got his own clothes.

I changed quickly and grabbed some shoes before walking downstairs. Kellin followed behind me as we headed to the kitchen where Jane was cooking what smelled like pancakes.

"Good morning boys," She said with a smile.

I didn't respond as I sat down.

"Good morning Jane," Kellin said sitting next to me. "Where's John at?"

"He's upstairs."

"Oh," He mumbled as Jane set plates of pancakes in front of us. "Eat up, we need to leave soon."

We nodded and I started to eat.

"So how'd you two sleep?"

I looked over at Kellin, "Fine." I answered.

"Alan snores too much, I couldn't sleep half the night." Kellin muttered glaring at me.

"Oh I'm sorry dear." Jane said just as John walked in.

"It's not like I can help it," I said glaring right back at him.

He slapped my arm.

"Asshole."

"Alan watch your mouth!" John scolded.

"Oh I'm so sorry." I said sarcastically.

"And Kellin, no hitting. For once Alan didn't do anything." Jane said giving Kellin a look.

I opened my mouth to say something to her but Kellin pinched my thigh to shut me up.

"I'm sorry," He said and gave me a look.

I glared at him, "I hate you." I whispered.

"Love you too," He whispered back and turned back to his plate to finish eating.  When we finished eating we cleaned up then left for church.

"Do I have to go in?" I whined as John pulled into the parking lot.

John sighed and looked over at Jane, "Yes you do."

"I don't think it's necessary."

"You're going in."

"I'm probably going to catch on fire as soon as I walk inside," I muttered.
