PIPER

As we all go down the stairs, I veer off to the next stair case, pulling everyone along with me.

PMS? Yeah right. Rachel had given me this weird greenish bubbling thing after we took off, and BOOM goes the dynamite, and my PMS disappears.

I lead them down to the stable room, where Rachel is waiting patiently decked in a greek style sleeveless dress, plain white with a golden belt. Her eyes look distant and foggy, her hair braided over her head decorated with laurel leaves. Her feet are bare, and she smiles lightly when she sees us enter.

"Καλώς συνοδοιπόρους μου. Ψάχνεις το μαντείο των Δελφών, και εδώ να την έχουν βρει. Τι πρέπει να ξέρετε?" Rachel's voice is light and airy as she speaks in Greek.

"What did she just say?" Hazel asks, Reyna standing beside her with a confused expression.

"Here, I'll translate. She just said, Welcome my fellow travelers. You seek the Oracle of Delphi and you have found her. What do you need to know?" Az translates with ease, then blows a copper lock of hair out of her face.

"Rachel, what's going on?" Annabeth asks, obviously weirded out by the whole scene.

"She's in the zone. The spirit of Delphi has been acting up lately and taking over from time to time. Just let it happen." I explain calmly.

"Oracle of Delphi, we ask of thee a prophecy to guide us in our path to defeat of Gaea." I step up and speak loudly and clearly to Rachel.

"Are you sure you didn't just recite one yourself, Pipes?" Reyna kids, and there's a collective snicker.

Rachel cocks her head to the side in confusion.

"Μαντείο των Δελφών, ζητάμε από σένα μια προφητεία για να μας καθοδηγήσει στο δρόμο μας για να νικήσουμε Gaea." Az translates into Greek for Rachel - or should I say the Oracle - who has annoyingly decided not to understand English.

Suddenly, her eyes flash like christmas lights, and she speaks in a deep, robotic self echo kind of voice.

"Ξεκινώντας με 8, το οποίο αυξήθηκε σε 15, οι ταξιδιώτες να συνεχίσουν το ταξίδι τους. Οι σειρήνες έχουν τραγούδησε, με το οποίο αναγνωρίζεται 16. Οι επτά επικρατούν, μαζί με το υπόλοιπο, και η επιλογή της Ελένης αποφασίζει για την τύχη του κόσμου να καταστραφούν ή να ευλογηθεί." After the prophecy, Rachel collapses, and Annabeth runs over to catch her.

"It's still all Greek to me. Literally." Reyna and Hazel complain.

"Starting with 8, which grew to 15, the travelers continue with their journey. The sirens have sang, which recognized 16. The seven prevail, along with the rest, and Helen's choice decides the fate of the world to be destroyed or blessed." I simply translate for the two Roman demigods in the room.

"Let's try figuring out what it means. Starting with 8. There's Percy, Annabeth, Frank, Hazel, Piper, Jason, Leo, and Hedge. Then, Nico, 9, Rachel, 10, Az, Flora, and Fauna, 11, 12, 13. Then Reyna, 14, and Vick, 15. After the sirens, what did she mean it recognized sixteen? I don't remember anyone getting on the ship." Hazel starts calculating in her mind what it could mean.

"Neither do I." Reyna agrees, and gets that look where she's getting suspicious about something.

"This can only mean one thing." I say.
