"I can't believe we even lasted for a year."I said.
"I always knew y'all was gonna make it."Nae said.
"I have to tell you something."
"What is it?"
"I think I might be pregnant."
"Wait! Hold up! You actually let him hit it."She said shocked.
"Yes nae! Now onto the big problem."
"What's the problem? He's gonna take care of his child."
"I know! It's just that I just turned 18 a month ago and we didn't even graduate."
"Bruh Bruh! We graduate next week. Now take the test."She said.
"Fine."I said picking up the Walgreens bag and going into the bathroom.
I peed on the stick and waited for about 15 minutes. I looked down and it was positive.

I walked out the bathroom and showed nae it.
"Oh my gosh! My best friend is about to have a baby."She said jumping up and down.
"I can't wait to tell Lucas but I hope he doesn't leave me."I said.
"He's not going to leave you, ok!"
"Ok but I gotta go get ready for our anniversary."I said picking up my bag.
"Alright, bye baby mama."She said hugging me.
"Bye."I laughed and then left.

Lucas was about to take me to our 1 year anniversary. I'm very scared to tell him that I'm pregnant. Like I really love him.
"You look sexy baby"He said pecking my lips.
"Thank you"I smiled.
My outfit is alright because I'm a more at home person.

We got in the car and we were driving for at least an hour when we got to our destination. We were parked at a lake with a boat.
"Let's go."He said as we got out the car.
He grabbed my hand and walked on the boat. We sat at a table for two that had candles and petals on it.
"This is beautiful Lucas."
"And cliche."He smirked.
"Yea whatever."I rolled my eyes.
"Do you have something to tell me?"He asked.
"No!"
"Lie again."
"I'm not lying."
"Do you have something to tell me?"
"I don't."
"So you weren't going to tell me you were pregnant."He said angrily.
"Lucas-"
"Why couldn't you tell me? You thought I was gonna leave you. You should know me better Aurion. I'm not a deadbeat like your parents."He yelled.
"I was gonna give you this tonight."I said handing him a pair of baby shoes.
"I wanted you to figure it out tonight because I hoped you would be excited."I said standing up.
"Wait Auri-"
"No it's ok!"I said as a tear slipped down my face.
"I'm sorry Auri."
"I know you won't be a deadbeat unlike my parents."I said walking away.
"Auri!!!"He yelled after me but I kept walking.
"Auri."I felt him grab my arm.
"What Lucas?"
"I'm sorry."He said.
"Just take me home."I said walking to the car.
