You pressed your back against the wide tree. You tried to suppress your heaving breath.

"Aamyy!" Teddy called out. He continued hollering as he cane closer and closer.

You two were playing something like tag and Army. You each had a Nerf gun, ready to fire at the other.

The other guys and their girls had been playing too but had decided to go to a movie halfway into the game, so you and Teddy being the couple you were, decided to stay and play.

You looked around the tree trunk to see how close he was. You didn't see him, which equally confused and scared you. You were confused because how could he disappear so fast, and scared you because he was probably one step from getting you.

Sure enough, just as you turned back, you felt a suction cup bullet hit you in the arm. It stuck there for a second before falling off.

"Uuuggh! Teddy!" you yelled. You smacked him in his arm. "No fair, you snuck up on me!"

He was just cackling away. "Oh you're just sore, Amy. You can't handle losing, can you?"

You rolled your eyes and pecked his lips. "I guess."

He smiled against your lips before kissing you again. Just as the kiss was deepening, you slyly pushed back and shot him square in the chest with your Nerf gun.

"Ha! Got you," you cheered, waving your arms, and gun, in the air, doing a little victory dance.

Teddy just smiled and shook his head at your actions. "You know I'm going to get you back, right?"

You just smiled brightly right back, moving back into his arms. You planted another small kiss on his nose. "I know."
