The Secret of Life Itself (Full Metal Alchemist x reader)

Your POV:

"Where are we going?" I said while walking.
"Central Command." Ed said.
"Really sounds like you wants me to become a State Alchemist."
"I never said that."
"I don't want to argue Edward."

I meant what I said. I don't want to get involved with the military. They will kill me if I do something wrong. Even so. At least Ed and Al will protect me. Well I have two new kittens now. I'm going to call the black one Yin, and the white one Yang. I know they are both girls. I think it just sounds right.

"Hey Al. How about I name the black one Yin and the white one Yang?" I said while smiling.
"I love those names!" Al said.
"Just wait until we get more!"
"NO NO NO NO!" Ed said.

And I thought we were going to get along well. We walked into the HQ of Central City.  It was huge. This is my death place. All I could do is add on to the place. Not only is it big, but it's very fancy.

"Full Metal how are you?" A man with black hair and gloves said.
"Oh wow I'm fine thanks for asking Colonel Mustang." Ed said sarcastically,
"Oh who's your little friend?"
"I never asked."

Oh. I never told them my name yet. And, I'm still working with them to find the Philosophers Stone.

"It's (y/n), (y/n) (l/n)." I said while bowing.
"Well (y/n) it's nice to meet a new friend of the Elric boys." Colonel Mustang said.
"I never knew your name would be very pretty." Alphonse said.
"I agree Al." Ed said.

I blush in embarrassment. It truly is very humiliating for your name to be complimented. 

"I don't really think my name is very special..." I said.
"Don't say that. A name is special because it describes who you are!" Alphonse said.
"Um thanks. I guess..."

Why do they think I'm so special? I'm not. I'm just a human. Nothing more. I maybe an Alchemist, but that is all I am.

"This is Yin and Yang, my kittens." I said while holding them out.
"They are still so young." Colonel Mustang said.

I draw a circle and a transmute a formula for them again. I feed it to them.

"I know. They have no mother so I guess I'll have to do." I said while feeding them.
"Where did you find them?" Colonel Mustang said.
"Al found them in the desert."
"How did they survive?"
"Al put them in his suit of armor."
"Got you."

They are so cute. They are crying. I hug them.

"Shh. Shh. It's ok. Calm down." I said softly.

The little mew-mew went away slowly. They fell asleep on my chest. They were purring. Softly. Cutely. I see Al, Ed, and Mustang in awe. Surprised that I calmed them down. I hugged the kittens.

"If you two want. I have a couple rooms available at my house. I'm a bit wealthy." I said.

We got to my house. It was huge I admit. Ok it's a mansion. When I was younger before my parents died, this was their house.

"It's huge!" Ed said.
"Yeah. That's the word." I said.
