Your POV:

The look of shock on my face was still present. This was the second time I've seen this man. The shocking thing was that he looked the same as when I first saw him. No sign of aging was on his face or his features. The echoes of people hammering roofs was still present in the now more silent breeze.

"It's been a long time, huh Al?" Hohenheim asked.
"Yeah." Al replied.

Silence then rung through the air. The only thing heard at the time was people still hammering. It wasn't awkward silence. It was more like a tense silence. Al hadn't seen his father for years, and there he is, standing in broad daylight.

"So uh.... I saw Pinako recently. She told me about your body." Hohenheim continued.

Silence then appeared again. It seemed like this silence was more tense than the last one. Hohenheim and Al exchanged glances. The echoes of the hammering was still heard throughout Lior. That silence was interrupted by the sound of footsteps coming closer to us.

"Hey! There he is!" A woman exclaimed.

Hohenheim, Winry, Al, and I looked over and we saw a couple of people coming our direction. One of them was male, and the other was female. They both were carrying building supplies.

'Probably more workers." I thought.

These people were also wearing construction clothes. By that, I mean wear and tear clothes for hard labor.

"Mr. Ho! You think you can give us a hand for a bit?" The man asked.
"Yeah sure. Um. Let's catch up later." Hohenheim said.
"Oh... ok." Al replied.

Al was very understanding of his father. I smiled at him lightly.

'I know for a fact they Al still trusts him." I thought.

Hohenheim walked away from us, taking off his bandanna in the process. I looked at Al. He kinda looked sad. I tried my best to rub his shoulder comfortingly, but I was too short. It was more like a scene where I was trying to jump to touch his shoulder. Al giggled lightly and sighed.

"It's ok Al. I'm pretty sure your dad wants to talk to you." I said with a smile.
"You're right (y/n). Even after him leaving, I still think of him as my father." Al replied.
"Don't worry Al. I already know that."

My gaze shifted back at the food shack. There was someone different there. Well someone new was in the shack. It was a short man with a mustache.

"You did a hell of a job fixing up this old radio. It works better than it used to. It doesn't even pick up static now." The new person said.

Al and I walked over to the radio. We both stared at it. Al then looked over to the man.

"I'm really sorry. All this bad stuff happened because we stuck our noses in." Al apologized.
"Hmmmm don't say that. You've gotta look at all the good stuff that's come from it. You guys exposed a corrupt fraud. People reacted badly at first, but take a look." The man replied.

Al and I then looked behind us. We saw people working on Lior to fix it. I kept looking at the progress. Then the people gave a synchronized wave.

'First place for synchronized waving go to the people of Lior." I thought.

I still continued to stare off into the progress. I couldn't imagine how much they've lost just from the riots.
