Two days.

It had been two days since Finn's massacre at the grounder village and everyone seemed to be waiting for retaliation.

Brinley couldn't even bring herself to look at Finn after what he'd done and she knew that Clarke was having trouble doing the same. Out of all of them, Finn – the peacemaker of the 100 – was the last person any of them would have expected to single handedly murder innocent men, women and children.

Brinley understood desperation. She understood need and she most certainly understood revenge, but even Brinley Kane would not put a plan into action without having all of the facts presented to her, especially a plan that could end the lives of many.

But even despite the horror they all felt at Finn's obvious mental instability, Brinley found herself almost happy, which was strange considering the circumstances.

'Okay, tell me again.'

Brinley was seated beside Bellamy, whom was questioning both her and Clarke about their escape from Mount Weather, a map in front of them.

'It's a labyrinth. We got to the dam through this tunnel. It's all connected to the mine system, that's our way in.' Clarke explained again.

'Sure, if we can get past the reapers and the mountain men. I swear to god, if your Mum doesn't sanction a mission soon I'm going by myself.' Bellamy sighed.

'You won't be by yourself.' Brinley pointed out and Clarke nodded as her eyes drifted to behind Bellamy and Brinley.

'Guess the inquisitions over.' Bellamy commented as he glanced at Finn before turning back around to the blonde again. 'How's Finn doing anyway?'

'I haven't talked to him since we got back.' Clarke looked down almost guiltily. 'I don't know what to say. He just kept shooting.'

'We're at war, Clarke.' Bellamy ignored Brinley's sharp look. 'We've all done things.'

Finn appeared beside them, bringing with him an air of tension. 'Hey.'

'Hey.' Bellamy commented back, seeing both Brinley and Clarke look away from the newcomer.

Finn was staring at Clarke and Brinley noticed, standing up suddenly with an agitated sigh, tugging Bellamy up with her. 'Come on hot shot, buy me a drink.'

After they got far away enough that the two could no longer hear them, Bellamy asked. 'What was that for?'

'They need to talk, and you're buying me a drink remember.' Brinley smiled sweetly up at him, making Bellamy crack a smile.

'Fine. One drink.'

Brinley followed Bellamy to where someone was handing out cups of alcohol, Bellamy asked for two, turning around and handing one to Brinley with a smirk.

'There you go sweetheart.'

Brinley downed it in one go, cringing at the aftertaste. 'Ugh, Monty's moonshine is so much better.'

'Brin.'

Brinley turned at Murphy's voice, raising an eyebrow at him. 'Murphy.'

'Clarke needs you in electrical.'

Brinley sighed. 'Alright, thanks Murphy.'

Brinley started to walk away, but turned back around to her two boys. 'Play nice, both of you.' She warned as she walked away, not seeing the wary looks Bellamy and Murphy shot at each other as she did so.
