Hello, hello!
FINALLY AN UPDATE
It's been awhile.
*Unedited*

Trigedasleng might be incorrect but all the translations come from http://trigedasleng.info/

Header picture is why I haven't been able to write much. That's Jasper, he takes up a lot of time because he's still settling into a routine with our other Chi. :)

Feedback is appreciated as always!

In the hours that followed, a sombre silence fell over the group. Both Abby and Marcus stayed silent as they trekked back towards the rovers, Indra leading them. Octavia was stationed beside Indra, the girl falling back into the familiar pattern she had once forged with the tough woman. Pike walked beside Bellamy, whose expression betrayed none of the emotion that Brinley knew he was feeling.

Brinley was behind Pike and Bellamy, walking alone.

Eventually, they reached the rovers, and with a heavy sigh Marcus and Pike covered the two bodies remaining there as best they could, placing them in the very back of the rover.

It was quickly decided who should go in which rover. Indra and Octavia would ride with Abby and Marcus, while Brinley, Pike and Bellamy along with the two deceased, would ride in the second rover.

Bellamy climbed into the back of the rover, casting a sad glance at the bodies lying neatly to the side. Pike, who was seated next to Bellamy who was driving, saw the look she gave the deceased.

'Makes you think, doesn't it?'

Brinley met Pike's gaze evenly, her expression not giving anything away. When she spoke, her voice was emotionless. 'Just another day on the ground.'

Pike's expression tightened as he turned back around to face the front, looking disappointed and unhappy with her retort.

Brinley hated the feeling of riding in the rover, but it had become more bearable compared to before and for that she was grateful. Brinley's eyes stayed on Bellamy to begin with but they soon drifted down upon noticing the tense set of his jaw, the tightening of his hands on the steering wheel, the shininess of his eyes...

They'd left behind Gina, Sinclair, Raven and a whole host of nameless others in Mount Weather.

Only Sinclair and Raven had made it out alive.

'So Brinley, we haven't had much of a chance to talk.' Pike made conversation, seemingly unfazed that his people had been murdered not even an hour before. If Brinley weren't so good at reading people she'd say he didn't really care; but he did. It was there in the set of his mouth and the hardness in his eyes.

Pike was thirsty for revenge.

'We've been a little preoccupied.' Brinley kept her voice level, avoiding the man's calculating gaze.

'You want to tell me why everyone was so surprised to see you at that trading post?'

Brinley smirked without humour. 'Not really, but I'm sure you have your own theories.'

'That I do.' Pike nodded. 'My theory is that you ran away, that you decided to play grounder for awhile, maybe to piss off your Dad?'

Brinley snorted but didn't comment.

'Even on the ark, you had a certain reputation. You were a good kid, a smart kid, but you were known for causing trouble for your Father. It's not such a stretch to think that that's what you were doing alone out there.'

Brinley turned her head, meeting Pike's gaze. 'Knowing of me and knowing me are two entirely different things. You should remember that.' Brinley's tone was dismissive and it didn't go unnoticed by Pike who smartly nodded his head and turned back to face the track in front of them.
