Chapter 13- Change

Why am I doing this? I shouldn't be this depressed, but I can't help it, it's the way he's treating me! I've been locked in my room for five weeks because of him! I want a change... and that's what I'm going to do! I probably won't be able to get over this Jaejung and Aiko thing, but I want to get out of this room, feel different, be different. I clean my room, open the curtains, wash my hair, and I went to the store to buy some black hair dye, my parents doesn't want me to dye it, but I want something different. They also didn't want me to cut my hair, but it grows back extra fast, it's not their decision, it's mines. I return home and dye all of my hair black. After dying it, I cut all of it to breast length. At first, it was butt length and now it's breast length. I'm sorry to be disobedient, but cutting and dying my hair is my decision. My hair looks so beautiful and different. When my mother and father arrived home, they were in shock.

Diamond-"Wow, Sylvia! Your hair looks so different."

Juntao-"Yes, it's so... beautiful!"

Sylvia-"What? I thought you two would be so upset."

Diamond-"No, darling, we knew one day you would want something different and today's that day."

Juntao-"Besides, who are we to tell you what to do with your hair? Either way, you're beautiful."

Sylvia-"(Smiles) Thanks, father! Thank you, mother! I love you."

Diamond-"Aww, we love you too, sweetheart. By the way, I want you to be a model."

Sylvia-"Really!? Of course, when can I go?"

Diamond-"You can come with me when I go tomorrow afternoon. You don't have to wear anything in particular, they dress you."

Sylvia-"Alright, I can't wait!"

I only act like this in front of my parents because I don't want to worry them, but on the inside, I am dying. Jaejung hasn't even tried to check on me, he's so busy with Aiko! What am I going to do?
