Chapter 16- Separation

He looked amazinㅡg, he had a black tuxedo on... his hair perfect, everything perfect. I walked over to him and Aiko stayed behind us, we hugged each other.

Jaejung-"Wow, Sylvia, you look amazing... I'm so glad that we get to spend all day together."

Sylvia-"(Blushes) We've done this before, idiot."

Jaejung-"I know, but this time, it actually feels perfect."

Sylvia-"Actually, the first one was perfect, the first one will always be perfect. Ready to go?"

We headed off to the festival and when we arrived, Aiko separated from us. We had lots of fun, Jaejung won me so many bears. I ate so much food, I felt sick, but I didn't say anything, obviously. Hours later, the fireworks finally started, as the fireworks were going, I kept thinking about what my parents said... What if they soon find out? This is wrong...

Jaejung-"Sylvia... I know this was a pretty rough relationship, but you should know that I will never do anything to hurt you. I won't try to hurt you, I don't want to hurt you. You're so important to me and I know your parents does not want me to be seen with you, but I can't help it. I love you."

After saying that, he kissed me, it was like everything was in slow motion. My eyes are getting watery because I know that this is wrong! I can't go against my mother and father like this... However, I don't want to let go of Jaejung. After he kissed me, I pushed him away softly.

Sylvia-"I'm sorry, but... I can't do this anymore!"

Jaejung-"What?"

Sylvia-"We can't be together anymore, I can't disobey my mother and father like this..."

This broke him, I can tell, I quickly run away. When I finally get home, my parents are asleep and I quietly go into my room. I'm doing the right thing, am I? My parents told me to stay away from Jaejung and that's exactly what I'm doing... it's time that we go our separate ways... right?
