Chapter 17- Someone new

My mother and father were so happy that he and I got along so well. I was actually happy as well, he made me feel so excited to be at school. For the past week, I've been thinking about dying my hair back white. As I was walking to school, Aiko and Akio started walking with me.

Aiko-"Good morning, Sylvia!"

Akio-"Good morning, you two!"

Sylvia-"(Smiles) Good morning."

Aiko-"Uh... Sylvia, who's your friend?"

Sylvia-"I met him like a week ago, his name is Akio, my parents are great friends with his mother."

Akio-"Hello! You must be Aiko? I've heard so much about you from Sylvia."

Aiko-"(Laughs) Good things, I hope."

Sylvia-"Of course!"

Aiko-"Well, I have to go to class before I am late, I'll see you this weekend, Sylvia."

Sylvia-"Alright, Aiko! Come on, you're in Class A with me."

I was hoping that Jaejung was exchanged to Class B. When we finally arrived in the classroom, Jaejung was sitting right there! This is going to be super awkward, but I guess things... happen, right? His seat is two seats away from Akio's and mines.

Akio-"Where's the teacher?"

Sylvia-"Since we're the highest scoring class, we teach ourselves. The office gives us the most hardest work and we simply do it. Besides, they don't really have enough teachers. They completely trust us since we are civilized enough. However, the lowest scoring class sometimes has more hours than us, they have a teacher, and they come to work on the weekends."

Akio-"Huh, that's very interesting. Since they have so many hours and all of that! how come they still score low?"

Sylvia-"The principal says it's because they aren't used to studying and they never pay attention. They would be extremely smart if they just applied themselves, but they don't even bother to try... Anyways, I've been thinking about dying my hair back white."

Akio-"Really? That's cool!"

Sylvia-"What do you think?"

Akio-"Well, if y-"

Jaejung-"I like your current hair color... I actually like both."

Sylvia-"Thanks..."

Akio-"I think you should do what you want. What do you think?"

Sylvia-"I want to dye it back."

Akio-"Then go ahead! Either way, you're gorgeous!"

I blushed a little and laughed, Jaejung looked over at us. I continued to talk with Akio, I could somewhat tell that Jaejung hated what he saw, but I don't care anymore. Akio makes me happy, yes, I still love Jaejung, but everyone has a point in their life when they loved someone and they had to let go... and if they haven't, then sooner or later, they will. I'll just have to get over Jaejung...
