Upcoming Poetry Slam

Ayyyyyy

There's a poetry slam coming up. And I'm going 2nd out of 30 something people. I wanted to go first but someone beat me to taking the spot.  Same person that took first and forced me to be second when I gave my big speech earlier in the year. Luckily, he's not very good at writing creatively or writing in general so I'm gonna blow everybody's minds. I'm so excited. We are allowed to use props and music if we provide everything ourselves so I'm definitely using props and maybe bringing a guitar or something for background. I want to incorporate my hat into it because I can pull it off and let hair down to my knees fall out with a line about toxic stereotypes and the transphobia in the world or something. I want to get really personal and move the audience. I want to express myself to these people I barely know. I think this will be the first time I publicly or in general at all talk about being suicidal and the nasty things I've been told. Just some thoughts on my slam poem!
