"What's going on?" I asked.

"Um...what do you want for Christmas?" Jack asked nervously.

"I don't know, Brendon Urie?" I said. He just laughed.

"What he's trying to say is-" Alex started. He was cut off by the sound of his phone. He looked at it and his eyes went wide. His fingers danced across his screen faster than I've ever seen before.

"Blake, go upstairs and put on a dress, we gotta go. Like, right now." He said. He seemed panicked so I didn't question anything. I ran up to my room and put of the gold dress and black leggings Alex had bought and ran downstairs with black ankle heel boots. Could I walk in them? Yes. Were they comfortable? No. Did I have a choice? I think you know the answer. I already had makeup on from earlier so I was good in that department.

"Alex! Let's go!" I yelled.

"I'm coming, hold on!" He yelled back. He grabbed the keys off the table and we ran outside. I didn't put my shoes on until we were in the car.

"Are you ok?" I asked him.

"Uh, y-yeah. I'm fine." He said nervously.

"Alex-"

"Really, Blake. I'm ok." He flashed me a smile.

"You look beautiful." He said.

"Thanks. You do too." I said.

"You think I'm beautiful?"

"Always." I laughed. He did too. Soon enough, we were at his parents house. He opened the door and told me to stay in the car. He went around and opened the door for me and walked me to the front of the house with our arms linked together. He rang the doorbell.  A woman with short dark brown hair opened the door.

"Alexander!" She said excitedly. She welcomed us with hugs and invited us in. I knew who she was. Peter walked in a few seconds later.

"Is this your date?" He asked, with what I think was disappointment in his eyes.

"Actually, father, this is my daughter, Blake. I thought mother would have told you." He said. I've never seen this side of Alex before. He seemed scared.

"Hello, darling. Has Alexander and his friends been treating you well?" She asked. I picked up on how they were very quickly.

"Yes. They've been wonderful." I smiled. I never thought Alex's family would be like the super proper people you read about in books.

"Alexander, darling, come open your presents." His mom called. She handed me one, too. I looked at Alex to see if I could and he nodded. It was a charm bracelet with a British flag on it.

"You can add charms to it when you visit different countries with the boys." She said. Alex was about to open his, but the doorbell rang and a bunch of people came in.

"Hello, everyone. This is my daughter Blake, and she will be joining us for dinner tonight." Alex announced.

We sat around a huge tables and held hands to say grace. I flinched when they mentioned Christ and God and stuff. I don't have anything against it, I'm just not a huge believer. I do believe that there might be a higher power somewhere, but I would go as far as to call them a god. I'm not, nor have I ever been religious and them talking about this made me mildly uncomfortable. We all took a seat at a chair and people walked around offering us food. I was offered a smoothie and I was about to take a sip of it.

"Wait." Alex said. He took it and drank some.

"Hey!" I said.

"Blake, take my water. You can't have this." He said.
