Dreamless sleep. Faint whispers. A soft voice pulling me from my sunken slumber. I can't really understand but I know I want to get closer to it. Pushing my body towards it, the voice becomes clearer. I can make out what it's saying.
"Sleeping all day can't be good for you, lovely snake. But you're too cute to wake up~ Just open your eyes a little. Come on~ we have school. Nagi? Please? My parents will be home if we don't leave for school soon. You know what happened last time they found out I was still in bed during school. That's a lie..." It seemed to trail off as someone plays with my hair, running their fingers through it, curling the ends around their fingers. I turn towards it, met with warmth immediately. "You're freezing! I'll try to be less of a blanket hog next time. Now wake up~ I love you~ come on... please? Nagi!" It whines, pulling me closer. Arms around me? Oh. Must be Karma.
"Warm." I smile as I wrap my arms around him. He sighs into my hair.
"Do you want me to call you in sick again? Or are you feeling better today?" He brushes away rebelling strands.
"Sick." I groan, the pain in my stomach returning. It's been three days. I should be over this by now.
"Of course. Still your stomach?"
"Mm."
"Hospital?"
"No!" The word makes me sit up. I'm not that sick. I don't need a hospital. Karma sits up slowly, pulling me back to his chest.
"Okay okay. I'll get you some medicine." He laughs, kissing my forehead.
"Thanks."
"Anything for you."
A/n ...uh... hi? So um... yea... I don't know how to explain without sounding like I'm too busy or just don't care... but... here's the thing:
-I'm not great at being formal or anything
-I have a few things I've gotta do (trips, dog show, etc.)
-I'm obviously not following my proper schedule
-I'm working through stuff so please don't hate me
-I've got a ton of drafts that I've yet to complete (they're coming along slowly)
-I'm still posting here just not as often
-I'll be doing requests and occasionally my own ideas
-I'll finish all of my drafts and then I'll only be doing ^^
