"El. El wake up" he shook her.
Eleven groaned.
"Come onnnn" he whined
El peeked her eye open and glanced at the clock beside her.
He kept shaking her.
"It's 8:00 am on a Saturday, leave me alone you frogface" she snapped, burring her face on her pillow.
She was waiting for him to laugh, or to whine again. But instead she heard nothing. Silence. She furrowed her eyebrows and looked up.
Mike was pouting at her, with puppy eyes.
El's frown became a smile.
"I'm sorry" She sighed, sitting up.
Mike shook his head.
"I had a surprise for you, I knew you desperately wanted to go somewhere on a trip with the car, but I guess you don't want to go with a 'frogface' " He crossed his arms.
El's face lit up at the surprise.
"Wait? A road trip? Where?"
"Somewhere you love going in the summer time."
"The beach?" She squealed.
"Mhm" He nodded, not looking at her.
"One out of town, a very beautiful one. It's 2 hours away"
"But... I guess you don't want to go then" He added.
El rolled her eyes.
"Oh come on, Mike. You know I was joking" She said, uncrossing his arms, placing then on her hips and sitting down on his lap.
"Mhm" He nodded, still not looking at her.
El chuckled.
She tilted his chin so he finally looked at her.
"I was joking" She softly said.
Their faces were just inches apart, he knew she did that on purpose.
He was just playing a game.
Mike smiled at her and she smiled back.
"I know, you weirdo" He chuckled.
He placed his hand on her cheek and pulled her in for a kiss.
She smiled against his lips.
Her hands made their way to his wavy hair and tugged it.
They leaned back, and she pecked his lips once more.
He pecked back.
She chuckled and pecked again.
He smiled and leaned in again, this time forming a longer kiss.
She pulled back first, laughing at his actions. He just stared at her in awe with a grin planted on his face.
"So... what about that beach again?" She asked, bitting her lip.
