"Wake up, lazy head" She shouted, jumping on top of him.

"Jesus christ El!" He shouted, breathing heavily.

His hands were on her sides, and her face snuggled on his chest.

Mike brought his hands to his face and rubbed his eyes.

El just stayed on top of him, her arms snickered around his waist.

He sighed and look out of the window, seeing the blue ocean and the crispy sand.

It was a shame that it was winter.

"You want some coffee?" He asked in a raspy voice, looking down at the girl.

He brought his hand to her head and ran his fingers through her hair.

She nodded.

"El"

"Mhm?"

"El"

El lifted her head with a goofy smile. Mike smiled,wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her up to him.

El leaned forward and place her nose on his.

Mike gave her a toothy grin and tilted his head, connecting their lips to her surprise.

"Coffee and Eggos?" He asked against her lips, eyes still closed.

El leaned back and he opened his eyes.

"Coffee and Eggos" She nodded, bitting her lip.

Ring! Ring!

"I'll get it!" El said, sprinting out of the kitchen and into the living room.

"Hi?"

"Ell!!! I miss you!!"

"Hi Max, I miss you too"

"When are you coming back?"

"I told you, next week" She smiled.

"But that's too far away!!!"

"You whine too much, Max. I'll be back before you know" She laughed.

"How's Mike?"

El looked back at the kitchen, Mike lifted his head from the coffee and grinned at her.

"He's great"

"Mhm"

El chuckled. "What?"

"How was your nighttt?" Max teased.

"Max! Shut it!"

"Okay okay, i'll see you soon weirdo"

"Bye ginger head"

El shook her head as she walked back into the kitchen.

"Everything okay?"

"Yeah, everything just fine" She said, sitting down on his lap.

She grabbed the eggo that he was about to eat and took a bite. Mike dramatically furrowed his eyebrows at her.

"We have to work on that habit of yours"

"Mhm" She said, taking another bite.

"Hey El? Where are- oh here you are"

El looked up from her book.

"I have something for you" He said, sitting down on the bed and tapping his lap.

El crawled to where he was and sat down on his lap, tangling her legs around his waist.

"What is it?" She asked.

He opened the palm of his hand to reveal a ring.

"It's a promise ring" He said, taking her hand.

El gasped and looked at Mike with her big brown eyes.

Mike grinned at her reaction.

"We are really young, but I know that in a few years I'll want to marry you. You are my everything, El. Without you, I'm no good. I love you, and I promise I'll always do" He placed the ring on her finger, softly, and looked at El.

"I love you, so much, Mike Wheeler"

He smiled.

"I love you more, Eleven-Future-Wheeler"

Eleven started laughing uncontrollably.

"You are such a mouthbreather," she wrapped her arms around his neck "my mouthbreather"

Mike tilted his head.

"Deal" He said, quickly leaning in to connect their lips.
