Ben's POV
Another week has passed and it's becoming a habit for the boys to join us for dinner. I don't mind and neither does Rey.

We aren't known as the new couple in town anymore and it seems like people are always coming and going. You stay for a week, then you're new in town. After 10 days, your old news.

I've come to know the regulars in town who frequent the cantina and know their drinks and roughly where they live.

"Have a good night. See you tomorrow." I say to the Wayne, last customer tonight, as I wipe down the bar.

"Hey Ben." Bawse calls to me, as he approaches.

"Yeah?" I ask and continue with my job, as Rey begins cleaning the tables, since Caskin is sick.

"You know those tickets you turned in for the pod race tomorrow?" Bawse asks.

"Yeah, what about them?"

"Didn't get claimed. Maybe you can take Rey out on a date." He suggests.

"I already have the day off." Rey comes over with a full bin and a towel on her shoulder.

"I can have someone cover you." Bawse says encouraging me.

"Is this a test?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Come on. You did the right thing and I'm rewarding you." He grabs my hand and slaps the two tickets into them. "Plus I never really welcomed you both to Mos Eisley."

"Thank you Bawse." Rey smiles.

"Okay you two go home and check on Caskin. He came in earlier said he was sick. Looked sick too." Bawse replies.

"Yeah, I told him I would cover for him." Rey says sliding the bin over the counter to him.

"Yup. Now go, it's been a busy night. Apollo can wash these on his morning shift tomorrow." Bawse smiles at us and grabs the bin.

"Thanks." I smile to him and exit from behind the bar. "Have a good night. See you later."

"Bye Bawse!" Rey waves and holds the door open for me.

Once on our way home I slide my hand into hers.

"I'm actually excited and nervous for tomorrow." Rey says and I watch the moonlight highlight her face.

"Me too. It's going to be hectic, I bet."

"Yeah. I just hope tomorrow is a good race day."

"Yeah no problems, because if a ship loses control, we might blow our cover." I whisper.

"Which means we'd be on the run again and I actually like it here. It's like a nicer Jakku." Rey tells me. "Reminds me of the simpler days."

"Simpler days?" I question.

"Back before I was involved in the war. When I thought Luke Skywalker was just a myth."
