Chapter 35

Third Person’s POV

As the demigods popped out of Olympus Aphrodite squealed like a teenage girl. “Alright everybody!     Please go back to your respective seats!” She announced, each of the tables has cards that were written in greek to know your place. The demigods sat at their tables with their dates. “Who are this people?” Percy asked. “Some of them are actors, actresses, singers, musicians, or even bands!” Piper said. “You mean, even those Hollywood people are here too?” Leo said.

“Yup! Some of the Hollywood actors or actresses are demigods you know.” Piper adds. Their jaw drops.  Just then the microphone made this obnoxious noise that hurts the ears. ” Everybody, may I just announce that this evening we will have to vote our Prince and Princess of Olympus, and King and Queen of Olympus! It’s also like prom but different.” Aphrodite said. Annabeth rolled her eyes as she hears Natalie’s over reacting squeal. “Oh gods! I hope I be the Queen!” She said and claps her hand.

Annabeth’s POV

Boring. That’s the word I’m looking for. I hate this ball. All you could see are masks and big puffy gowns! Including mine of course.  But anyways. Everyone’s dancing except me and Percy we were just sitting here at our table. “You wanna dance?” He ask. “Ahm, sure.” I said. He held out a hand for me to stand up, “You look kinda bored.” He adds. “Well I am.” I replied and gave him a smile. “Should we vote for Natalie?” I asked as we step at the middle of the dance floor. The song was in a slow song so I wrapped my arms on Percy’s neck and he wraps his on my waist that gave me some tickles. “I don’t think so, I was thinking of voting the both of us.” He said with a smirk. I slapped his chest. “No way! I don’t want to.” I said as I lay my head in hi shoulder. “You’re right” He said. I was quite confused for a bit so I asked him.  “Why? I mean, I know I’m right but why do you think that we shouldn’t?” I asked looking directly to my boyfriends sea-green eyes that were sparkling because of the lights. “Because you’re already the queen in my heart.” He said as he grins widely. “Seaweed brain, when did you get so cheesy?” I ask as I chuckled at his pick up line. “I’ve been spending a lot of time with Leo this past few days.” He said and twirled me around. We both chuckled. Just then he swept me of my feet, we stared at each other for a minute. Our face was an inch apart, I was about to close the gap when a cough stopped us. “Ehem, may I talk to my daughter.” Athena asked. But more of a demand actually. Percy nod, we left them there and he walked over to the table where Leo and Jason was sitting

“What are you doing?” I asked. “I’m saving you from that sea spun.” My so-called mother said. “What do you mean saving me? He’s my boyfriend mother.” I said. “Yeah! That’s the point, his your boyfriend, that’s why I’m saving you for your wrong decision.” The goddess said. “Mom! I love Percy! And there is no way you can destroy nor ruin that!” I replied. “Do not raise your tone on me like that young lady. Don’t you forget I am still your mother.” She said. “If you are, prove it.” I said and left her there standing alone. I was too angry at her for being such a jerk. I mean, can’t she just accept the fact that I’m in love with my boyfriend? This is so complicated. So I went outside of the room and went to the small garden outside. I sat there thinking about nothing. Really, I just sat there thinking about nothing. That was very unusual of me, but that time I really just need to think about nothing, just the fact that my mother does not like my boyfriend who is a son of Poseidon which makes him a son of ‘one of the big three’ . I groaned so loud that I didn’t even noticed someone was behind me. “You okay?” He asked. “What are you doing here? I don’t need any more of your flirty speeches.” I said in a irritated tone as I cross  my arms. “Chill, I’m over with that obsession. Don’t worry. I’m on your side now, and I already got off your hair so no need to stress.” He said. “Well thanks. Because I don’t need any more problems.” I said. “Well what is it? You can tell me.”
