PREFACE

"Aspen Lee's so-called "Golden Years" had just begun when everything came crashing down in a fiery ball of fiendfyre. Having grotesquely lost her mother to a fate of torn flesh and dangling intestines, the girl was left broken and shut down, a pandora's box for morbidity rather than customary teenage spitfire. Her life grew stagnant and her stability was perpetually distorted. Her father grew just as unstable, abandoning his one and only heir who inadvertently killed the woman he prioritized most in life.

Keeping Aspen from ending a life self-assured as lost was her goal to avenge her mother, and kill the man that severed her family to bits.

She avoided doltish behavior and lived perpendicular to the 1970s era of frivolous disobedience and instability. Her attempts to stay separate only appeared to attract the most perculiar of sorts. Her life's next drastic turn of events occured in the aftermath of an idiotic stunt perpetuated by the notorious Marauders. Sirius Black, in particular, was a man on the run. On that run, he ran directly into a particular dime with colorful wristbands, and a tear-stained porcelain face. From then on, both teens divulged into a whole new world of chaos and picturesque experiences that would leave them forever yearning for a place in this new complex relationship with life."


