''Merry Christmas Eve!''
Matthew turns right back around, darting for the stairs after witnessing Alyssa and Devin Greene giving the living room last minute decorations while dressed up in festive pajamas. They were certainly in a festive mood this morning and Matthew was not having it.
''No,'' Devin yelps. She tosses the stocking aside and ran after him. He groans when he felt her grab a hold of his arm being pulled back.
''What?'' He exclaims.
''It's a good thing you're up,'' Alyssa cheers, clapping her hands together. ''Now I can tell you both the surprise for today.''
He folds his arms across his chest. ''Which is?''
''Around two o'clock, I want you guys to get dressed up,'' She smiles. ''We're going out for dinner tonight.''
Devin let's an excited, ''Yay!'' While Matthew yawned out a tiresome, ''Yay.''

It was around 4 : 53 pm later that evening when Alyssa Greene, Devin Greene, Matthew Greene arrived to Red Roof. It was one of the restaurants in ten where the menu had meals that definitely cost over twenty dollars.
They were already sitting at their reserved table that looked a little bigger than needed for just three people.
''So,'' Devin clears her throat, alarming her mother and brother's attention from the menu. ''What's the special occasion?''
Alyssa opens her mouth to speak, but her train of thoughts were paused once she alters her gaze past Devin's head. A smile forms as she chuckles, ''You're about to find out.''
Devin and Matthew furrow their brows at her as she stands up from her seat. They turn only to find Marissa Atkins, Harris Atkins and Jeff Atkins approaching the table.
''Oh my god,'' She mumbles to herself as Alyssa greets Marissa and Harris. Jeff turns to Devin and Matthew and his eyes were just as wide as there's. What type of set up was this.
''Hi,'' Alyssa greets, shaking Marissa's hand first before going to greet Harris.
''Hi,'' They greet equally as kind hearted as hers.
''I hope we aren't late,'' Mrs. Atkins cringed. ''We would've came a whole lot sooner if Harris had known where he put his socks.''
Alyssa laughs at her remark and waves her off. ''It's fine, really. We just got here ourselves, a few minutes ago. Please, let's have a seat.''
