(FE: Azura X Male Reader)

(A request from soloplayer123

So you are a Adventure, if we are giving you to a class, but you are a bard for a hobby.)

(Azura’s POV)

I walked through the camp, lightly humming to myself. I was just enjoying a nice walk. Eventually I was near the woods, when I heard what sounded like a lute. Curious, I followed the music, until I found a small clearing. I quickly hid behind a tree as he stopped playing. “Mmmm, no no, not like that.” It was (FN). He tune his the lute and began to play again. The song he was playing sounded beautiful.

When he finished again, I couldn’t help myself. “That was beautiful.” I said. (FN) jumped and turned around. “Ah! A-Azura! What are you doing here?” He asked. “I was just out for a walk, but then heard you playing. You play very well.” I told him.

“Well, thanks. But I am not that good. I only been practicing for a few months.” (FN) said.
“Really? What made you start?” I asked.
“My mom used to play. I only started a few months ago, but if you think I am that good. Thanks.”

“You’re welcome.”

He looked at his lute for a moment. “Hay Azura, I was wondering if you could help me with something. I been struggling with the tempo a bit, and well, I thought you could help me.” He asked.

“But I don’t know anything about playing a lute.”

“I know, but maybe if hummed or sing, I could try and follow along. It would help me greatly.”

“Well, if you think it will, then sure. I’ll help you.”

“Thank you Azura. So then, I guess maybe tomorrow then?”

“Tomorrow then.”

(FN) smiled brightly and we walked back to camp. I guess it wouldn’t hurt, I get to hear him play again.

(The next day, Your POV)

I found a nice open place with Azura. “Alright, so then, you lead?” I said. “Sure.” I tuned up my Lute and we begun. I always enjoyed Azura’s singing, even in the thick of battle it was amazing and filled me with a sense of calm. So hearing her sing now, I kinda got lost.

“(FN)?” I napped back into reality. “You stopped playing, is everything alright?” Azura asked.

“Huh? Oh, sorry. Guess I got lost in your singing.” I said.

Azura giggled. “It’s alright. I have been told I have a captivating voice.”

“They are right.”

“Well, come on, we should get back to practice then.”

I nodded and we began again, this time I played. We honestly sounded great together. After a few minutes, we stopped. “How was that?” I asked. “Very good. You kept pace very well.” Azura said.

“Thanks.” I said. “Should we go for another?” I asked.

“Sure, I would love to.” Azura said.

(Few days later)

Me and Azura have been practicing, and I even did a few solo performances for her. Honestly it felt nice doing this, made me feel more confident to play for the others sometime. However, I did feel something else.

Our location this time was by a lake, and it felt right in a way. I finished playing and set my lute down. “So, how was it?”

“Beautiful. I could really feel the emotion in that one.” Azura said.

“Thanks. I been working on that one for a while.” I said.

“Hehe, and few days ago you said you were a beginner.”

“Well, I thought I would try it. Glad you like it.”

“I am glad you are enjoying this. It’s wonderful to practice music with another.”

I smiled, as well as Azura. Seeing Azura smiling sent my heart a flutter. It was something I really didn’t see her do, unless it was for these moments, or around the royals. But even then, it looked a little forced. So seeing her smile her now, it felt honest. “Um, Azura, mind if I tell you something about the song I wrote?” Azura nodded and I figured now or never. “I wrote it about you.”

A small blush came upon Azura’s face as I said this. “Y-you did?” I nodded. “Yes. Azura, I...I love you. From when we first met, to now, I thought you were the most beautiful woman ever. Your voice is better than any instrument, and I am filled with this sense of calm every time I hear you sing. And this time we have spent together, honestly it’ been the best moments. I….I want more of these moments.” I said. I poured out all my feelings, and it’s time to see how she reacts.

Azura was silent for a bit, I was almost afraid I might have screwed things up, but then Azura hugged me. I looked down at her and she looked up at me smiling. “That is the sweetest thing I have ever heard. I am glad to hear you feel so strongly for me. I have too. It’s one of the reasons why I agreed to help you, and now, to hear that you love me. I love you too.” Azura said.

We locked eyes, and in a moment, our lips locked.  We kissed for a while, until the need for air called. We held each other, and when the moon rose, we walked back to the camp, hand and hand.

I finished my song and everyone clapped. I did a small bow, as the kids around me got up. A boy with blue hair and yellow eyes like his mother walked up. “That was wonderful father.” He said. “Thanks Shigure.” I said, warping a arm around my son in a hug. “Father, you don't need to be so clingy sometimes." Shigure said through a laugh.

"Yea, but I feel like I owe you for all that time in the Deeprealms. Beside, I'm your dad, it isn't that bad." I told Shigure, letting him go.

"I know father. But I was wondering something." He said.

"Sure, what is it?" I asked.

"Could we practice some time? Maybe make a song?"

"Of course! I would love to make a song with you. Who knows, maybe we can do you with your mother as well."

"That sounds nice." I felt arms wrap around me in a gentle hug. I chuckled as I turned around to face my wife. Azura smiled up at me. "It would be some nice family time." Azura said. "Indeed. Besides, I need to have something in common with you two." I joked. Azura giggled and planted a butterfly kiss on my lips.

I honestly wonder what I did to get a amazing family.
