(Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword. Lyn x Male Reader)

(Your POV)

I walked through the camp, in my hand a ring I made. I was heading towards Lyn’s tent with one intention on my mind. I was going to ask her hand in marriage. I met Lyn with my brothers Kent and Sain, and been by her side since. For me, by her side was a but more Literal, since while my brothers favored being on horseback, I liked my feet on the ground and the shield at my side. So, I was always beside Lyn as my brothers rode ahead into battle. And well, bonds can form that.

Soon however coming out of his tent was my brother, Sain. He looked at me and smiled with a wave. “(FN), what’s going on little brother?” Sain said. I quickly hid the ring. ‘H-hey Sain.” I said and he noticed my hand. “What’s that you go there little brother?” Sain asked. I turn away. “Nothing.” I said. Sain grinned. “Come on little brother, just show me!” He said and tried to reach for it. I dodged but her was quick and grabbed my arm, but I kept my and closed. He tried getting my hand open but I kept it closed.

“Come on, just open!” Sain said.

“Never!” I said.

“You two!”

Both me and Sain stopped as Kent walked over. “Sain, what are you doing to (FN)?” Kent asked, her arms crossed. “(FN) has something in his hand, I just wanted to see what it was.” Sain said. “That’s because it isn’t for you to see!” I said. “Sain, stop pestering (FN). (FN), may I see what you have?” Kent asked.

I looked at him, then Sain. “....Fine.” I opened my hand and there was the ring. Kent picked it up before Sain could snatch it. “This is a nice ring, the craftsmanship is incredible. Did you forge this?” Kent asked and I nodded sheepishly. Sain looked at it, before smirking. “And with its design, I say our little brother has a special lady on his mind.” Sain said and my face exploded in a blush. Sain was about to press, but kent punched him on the head. “As I am sure it would be nice to know who has captured our little brother’s heart, but we can only wish him luck.” Kent said as he squeezed Sain’s shoulder.

“Right….ow.” Sain said. Kent gave me a thumbs up as I smiled and quickly went back onto my mission. As I finally arrived at Lyn’s tent, my body began to tense up.  Maybe I shouldn’t do this, not now at least. We are in a war and proposing to a girl is kinda a bad idea right now...right? Yeah, so I’ll just- “(FN)?” I stopped, halfway in a turn as I heard Lyn call my name. I turned around and Lyn stood there, looking as Beautiful as ever. I gulped and hid the ring behind me. “Um, hey Lyn.” I said. Talk about Dejavu. “I was um...coming to see you….” I said, trying my best to remain calm, but failing to be fully honest. Lyn giggled at me, which only made me blush more. “Well, I was about to go find you as well, but you beat me to it. Why don’t you come in?” Lyn said and I nodded, following her into her tent.

“So, what is it that you wanted to talk about?” Lyn ask, leaning against a table. I gulped, though I couldn’t really find the words now. “Well um…..I… wanted to um ask you….” I began but I was a mess now. I don’t have either of my brothers confidence, or Sain’s way with words….if I can call it that. But the point is I wasn’t feeling my strongest. Lyn caught on, and walked over to me. She put a hand on my free one and smiled. “(FN), whatever you need to say, you can take your time.” She said.

I nodded, feeling my hand hold hers back as I looked her in the eye. “Lyn...I...I wanted to know if after this whole war and adventure….what you were planning to do?” I asked finally. Lyn smiled as still nice and heart warming as she got just a bit closer.

“Well, I was thinking on heading back towards Sacea and help out it’s people.” She said. “And I was hoping that maybe you would come along with me.” I could feel her breath on me as our lips were much closer. “I….” Before I could say anything, me and Lyn locked lips. Our hands let go and I put it on her waist as her hands moved to my shoulders. We kept up the kiss until air became needed very much.

We were breathing heavily now and I brought the ring up. “Marry me?” I said quickly. Lyn smiled and hugged me, almost knocking me over. “Of course I will marry.” She said as we sealed our love with a kiss once more.

(One game later)

I sat upon a horse, though I was hanging on a bit tighter than I should of as I wasn’t use to it. But I was willing to do it, since my wife would ride beside me. I looked back as Lyn rode up on her horse, dressed in her new Sacaen themed outfit. Though I was more focused on the ring on her hand, Lyn smiled and put her hand on my cheek.

“Ready (FN)?” Lyn asked. I smiled and put a hand on hers. “Ready, my love.” I said as we both shared a kiss, before lyn kicked off her horse and sped down the field. I laughed as I raced after her.
