The snow fell gently as I looked inside one of the shops. I let out a sigh as I stepped back from it and went back to walking. The cold air gently blew, cooling my cheeks further as I picked up the pace heading home. My hand brushed over a small box, a ring I had just bought not too long ago. It was a simple ring, but one full of meaning. I let out a sigh of happiness as I soon arrived home.
I arrived at my home, a modest little house, not the extravagant mansion that my parents would live in. I rather prefer this more smaller and less assuming place. Besides, big Mansions could often be a telling sign of a Mage living there.
I entered my home and my body instantly decompressed at the embrace of the heat and warmth. I took my my coat, scarf, and just about everything but my pants, shirt and socks as I walked into the living room. I quickly scanned the area, unsure where the other inhabitant of my home was. It wasn’t long before I felt arms wrap around me. “Welcome home~” I heard the sweet voice of my Servant, well, more the love of my life.
I looked back to see Ereshkigal holding me as I turned around to face her. She didn’t have on her more, godly outfit, but instead simply wore one of my hoodies, and stockings. Her golden hair was tied into twintails my red ribbons. She didn’t have on her crown or other things. Ereshkigal was a servant I summoned since I was a member of this super secret order. The crazy part was she wasn’t any Hero from the past, but more a Goddess in human form. So, it was a surprised that over the year we worked together, I would confess my love towards the Netherworldly goddess and now, we been together in each other’s arms for almost another year.
And now, I want to take it further.
“Did everything go alright while you were out?” Ereshkigal asked, looking up at me as she let go. I smiled and took her hands. “Yup. Not like I was going anywhere too far.” I said as I could tell she was a tiny bit worried for me, though I don’t know why. I can just call her at any moment and she would be there within the second. But a the same time I guess it can’t be helped. I mean, being in love is of course worrying about someone every so often.
“What did you get?” She asked. “Oh, just some mage stuff. Nothing to worry about.” I said, giving her a kiss as I went into the kitchen. “That’s all?” Ereshkigal asked. I looked back and smiled. “Yeah, that’s all. No need to worry dear.” I said. She blushed a bt being called dear, but I could tell she didn’t believe me 100%, but I had a plan and I was sticking to it.
“Anyway.” I began. “I am getting hungry. Should I cook or order in?” I asked her. Ereshkigal turn her back to me. “Do whatever you want, I don’t really need to eat, remember.” She said. Guess me trying to brush off my trip got her little Kamidere act going. So in a swift motion, I hand my arms around her. “I know, but still I like seeing your reaction when you eat, plus, you know how much I honor sharing a table with a goddess such as yourself.” I said,
I know she was blushing, to which made my heart melt as she just kept looking forward. “Well….that was that one place I saw on our walk yesterday, the one with that circle shaped food.” She said and I felt my heart now become a pool on the ground. “You mean Pizza?” I asked and she nodded. “Alright, then I’ll get to ordering.” I said as I went into the hall for the phone.
While calling the place, I checked my pocket to make sure the black box was still there. I smiled as I rubbed my thumb over it. Just a while longer.
After ordering, I walked back into the living room, where Ereshkigal was already sitting on the couch, hugging her knees to herself as she watched whatever was on. I sat next to her and was long before she and I were cuddling. I was in the corner, propped up for when the Pizza gets here, while Ereshkigal laid against my chest. I put my arms around her as she smiled up at me.
As we watched some random Movie was on, I was lost in my own thoughts as I gently rubbed Ereshkigal’s back. She nuzzled into my chest. “I love these moments, you and I just laying here, not as Master and Servant, but as lovers.” I said, my hand gently rubbing up and down her back. “I do too. I never thought I would find this kind of happiness.” Ereshkigal said as we locked lips, our kiss becoming a bit heated as it went on for a bit. Soon, we broke apart and went back to our cuddling.
It was another few minutes when the Doorbell rang. I got up and answered it. Of course it was the Pizza guy, who after paying and giving a nice tip to, I came back with the Pizza and Ereshkigal looked eager to taste it. I chuckled, setting it down and opening it. She looked at it in awe while I just chuckled. “Go ahead, Ladies first.” I said as she took a piece. I watched her as she blew on it a bit, before taking a bite. The face she made was adorable as she swallowed the bite. “This is, amazing!” She said and ate the piece before I grabbed mine. I smiled at her and saw some sauce on her face. Grabbing a napkin, I wiped it off. “You had a little on your face.” I said.
“T-thanks.” She said with a small blush while I just giggled. We ate the rest of the time in silence, I of course giggling as I watched the faces she maid, to only watch her blush and look away at times. It was cute, watching her eat and get flustered at times cause of me watching.
Once we had finished of the pizza, which now makes me think I should order two next time, I cleaned up and threw away the trash. “Alright, it’s time.” I said as I pulled out the box. I walked back into the living room and I turned off the TV. Ereshkigal looked up at me confused as I sat beside her. “I know technically we been a couple for only a few months, but honestly it feels a lot longer and well...I can’t ever see myself with another woman so.” I moved my hand with the box forward.
Ereshkigal clasped her hands over her mouth in shock as I move to one knee. “Ereshkigal, would you be my Wife?” I asked. She immediately jumped at me and wrapped her arms around me, holding me tightly. “Yes, I would gladly marry you! To become your Wife is a dream come true.” She said and I took out the ring. It was a simple silver band with a red stone, but it became the most beautiful ring in the world on her finger.
We got up and shared a long kiss, one that was quickly taken upstairs as we fell onto my bed. We seperated, mostly for me to breath as we looked at one another. “I love you (FN)~” Ereshkigal said as I saw tears prick her eyes. I wipe them away and kiss her once more. “I love you too Ereshkigal~” I said and we shared another kiss, and well, a lot more that night.
