(Fire Emblem Fates: Kamui X Male Reader)
(Third Person, Few Months ago)
“You may now kiss the bride.” The priest said as Kamui and her now husband (FN) locked lips, sealing their marriage. (FN) met the Princess of Nohr shortly after her arrival in the capitol and stayed by her side, even when she turned her back on Hoshido and Nohr, in an effort to help both. The young Outlaw did everything he could to help her, and now after a good few months, the two fell in love and were married, despite all the chaos and war.
(Present)
Kamui looked at herself in the mirror, her hand place over her stomach, a look of worry on her face. She woke up feeling a bit ill, and after having Sakura come over, it turned out she wasn’t just under the weather, but she was pregnant. Under a normal circumstances, this would have Kamui running towards (FN) with happy news. However, since they are at war, and heading towards this unknown land Valla, is bringing a child in this kind of world even a good idea? Kamui laid on her bed and curled up as she cried. “What am I going to do?”
“Kamui?” Kamui looked up to see Camilla walked in. Seeing her younger sister in tears, Camilla in blinding speed ran over and hugged her sister. “What’s wrong? Did someone hurt you? Tell me dear and I will-” Kamui shook her head. “No, it’s not that….Camilla I...I am pregnant!” Kamui said. Camilla’s eyes widen, before she held her sister tighter, cause Kamui to stop crying and start struggling. “My baby sister is pregnant! I can’t believe it!” Camilla said. “(FN) must be excited!”
“He….he doesn’t know.” Kamui said.
“He doesn’t? But why not dear?” Camilla asked.
“Camilla...what if he doesn’t want a baby, or how can I think about having a child in this kind of time? With everything going on?” Kamui began to cry again.
Camilla shushed her and gently pet her. “Calm down sweetie. I am sure there is a way you can have your child, and I am certain (FN) will be happy to be a father.” Camilla said as she rubbed Kamui’s head. Kamui sniffled, but like always she felt rather safe and calm in Camilla’s arms. After about another minute, Kamui sat up.
“Thanks...I needed a hug and some reinsurance. But still.” Kamui said as Camilla sighed. “Kamui, I told you, you don’t have to worry. You have a whole army here that follows you, not to mention a husband who I know will stay by your side, if he knows what’s good for him.” Kamui shiverd at that one. “Plus if anyone tries to harm you, or my chances of becoming a Aunt, there won’t be anything left to bury.” Camilla said, and again Kamui shiverd.
“But you should tell (FN). He at least should know.” Camilla said, kissing kamui’s cheek and standing up, walking out. Kamui sat there for a bit, before standing up, not to go tell (FN), but something else, maybe Lilith can help.
(Your POV)
I finished up a meeting with a few commanders for our next move, whenever that may be. I haven’t seen Kamui at all so far, I hope she is fine, she did say she was a bit ill. I think I will check on her. I walked over towards our home and entering it, I saw Kamui was gone. Maybe she got better?
I walked around for a bit, seeing if I can spot her. No luck. Where is she? This is getting me worried. “(FN), everything alright?” I turned around and saw Silas. “Yeah. Have you seen Kamui around?” I asked and he shook his head. “I am afraid I haven’t. Is everything alright?” He asked.
“I hope so. She was a bit sick this morning, and when I went to check on her, she was gone. I looked around but I haven’t seen anything of her. I am about to call a search party.” I said and Silas chuckled.
“Don’t you think it’s a bit to early?” He asked.
“.....No.” I said, but maybe he is right.
“Well, maybe she is with one of her siblings?”
“Maybe. I will try asking them.”
I bid Silas good day and began walking towards one of royal’s rooms. But as I crossed the yard and in front of Lilith’s temple and saw Kamui walking out. “Oh, (FN) I-” Before she could get another word out, I hugged her. “Where have you been all day?! I was worried sick!” I said and looked my wife over. Kamui giggled as she put her hand on my head to stop me. “I am fine...better than fine. Why don’t we head to our room and talk?” She said and I nodded.
After arriving, Kamui asked me to sit down. I did and she took in a breath, before looking me in the eyes. Her red eyes showed she was about to say something big. “(FN)...I am pregnant.” She said and it went silent. P...Pregnant?
(Kamui’s POV)
(FN) remained silent. “Oh no, please don’t- “ (FN) stood up and hugged me, burying his head into my shoulder, then I felt the tears on his face. “(FN)?” I asked and he looked at me, tears rather large. “We’re going to be a family!” He shouted and I began to tear up as well. Guess Camilla was right, but I didn’t think (FN) would be this happy. “Is this why you been hiding?” (FN) asked and I nodded.
“I was...just afraid you might not want a child, and with the war and everything.” I said. (FN)’s hold tightened a little. “How can I not want a child? Especially one with the woman I love so dearly?” He said. “And yes, there is a war, but I don’t care. If I am fighting to make sure our children will have a happy future, then I will keep fighting until it happens. I love you, our child, and the family I been accepted into.” He said and I looked at him. He stopped crying and now was more determined than ever.
I smiled and we held each other for long time. “But, I am worried. With you pregnant, Xander, Ryoma and I will have to lead, and gods know I can keep them in check for long.” He said. “Plus I doubt Azura will share with me anything.”
“Well….then good thing I talked to Lilith. She said there was a way.” I said.
“And what’s that?” He asked.
“Well….the Deep realms. We would be gone for maybe a week or two.” She said.
“And by then….you would have had our Daughter and we will be able to keep her safe and finish this war.”
“Yes…..wait, Daughter?”
“Yeah, Daughter. I want a little girl.”
“Well, maybe I want a son.”
“A son would be nice, but still. Daughter.”
I puffed my cheeks and (FN) giggled. I kissed him and (FN) kissed back. As we separated he put her forehead on mine. “I love you.” He said. “I love you too.” I said. “And I love our daughter.” “Son.” I said. (FN) just chuckled as we held each other.
(One Month later)
“Alright, let’s get on moving.” (FN) said as he put on the last bit of his armor. I smiled as I gave him a gentle kiss. “Let me just go get-” “Mama!” “Papa!” Running up to us was our Children. (FN) was half right, we did have a daughter, and her twin brother. Kana and Kanna. (Just go with it.) Both twins ran up to their favorite parent. For me it was Kana (Male) and for (FN) it was Kanna. (Female)
“Heh, we were just about to go get you two.” (FN) said.
“We know! We just wanted to already be here and with you guys!” Kana said.
“We are all going right Papa, Mama?” Kanna asked.
(FN) nodded and set her down. “Of course. It wouldn’t be a battle without the whole family here.” (FN) said as held up his hand. “Alright! Let’s move out!” He shouted. I may have had a family among this chaos, but I am willing to fight for, and with them.
