Cedric x Reader

5th year
Your POV
You were walking down the halls when suddenly someone bumped into you. Your books fell all over the floor as papers and such scattered around you. You fixed your glasses that were askew as you started picking up your things.

"Oh I'm so sorry." You heard deep voice above you.

You looked up to see a beautiful boy with brown hair.

"No, it's my fault. I should've paid more attention." You smiled at him as he crouched down to help you.

As you both gathered your things the boy smiled at you.

"I'm Cedric Diggory." The boy smiled.

"I'm Y/n Y/l/n." You reached out to his hand but suddenly, he brought it up to his lips and kissed it lightly.

"Pleasure to meet you, Y/n." He smirked at your light pink cheeks that were beginning to burn up.

"I'll see you around." And with that Cedric walked away leaving you stunned in the deserted hallway.

A few months later you were once again walking to the library to meet up with Cedric. You and him have been doing this for the past few months. You have completely fallen for Cedric, but you were to afraid to admit it to him because you might ruin your friendship.

Once you've gotten to him you sat next to him.

"Hey Ced." You smiled at the gorgeous boy in front of you.

"Hey Y/n." He smiled back.

After a few minutes of small talk...

"Hey Y/n?" He asked.

"Yeah?" You looked at him.

"I need advice..." He suddenly became shy.

"Okay... What for?" You asked turning to him.

"You see... erm... I like this girl..." He blurted.

"Oh... And?" You said while you plastered a fake grin onto your face.

"I plan on asking her out, but I have no idea how..." he sighed.

"Well... I say just go for it. I mean who is this girl? She most likely is already falling for you. I mean, your Hogwarts' heartthrob!" You said smirking at him.

"Well... She's amazing! She's funny, sweet, kind, generous and... I-I think I love her." Your smile faded a bit as you listened to your crush swoon over another girl.

"She has y/e/c eyes... Y/h/c hair.... and she's in Slytherin." He smirked as he saw the realization dawn over your face.

"And her name is Y/n Y/l/n." He finished with a bright smile etched on his face.

You were blushing so hard you thought you couldn't possibly get even more red.

And yet you did.

Cedric leaned in to place his lips against yours and cup your small face in his large hands.

You tangled your hands in his hair as he slid his tongue into your mouth as he started to mumble.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He smiled as he pulled away momentarily.

"Yes you bloody idiot!" You smiled as you kissed him again.
