SONG— Moon and Back; Alice Kristiansen

THIRD PERSON POV:

"BLACK! I WILL BLOODY MURDER YOU!" Hearty chuckles followed the bold statement as the michievous boy watched on. A beautiful girl entered his eyesight as she stared up at him with infuriated eyes. "Get the fuck down here!"

Her annoyed growl seemed to amuse the boy more as he grinned wider, jumping down from the branch with expected ease. "Yes, Y/l/n?" Smiling, he leaned back against the tree, not bothering to walk towards the drenched girl. She glared with all her might as she walked towards him seething.

"You're a fucking brat! You know that?" She grumbled, slamming her hand against the bark of the tree, her height only further amusing the boy. "I do, as a matter of fact, know that."

Anyone could see the amusement and love in the boy's eyes as she continued to angrily threaten him for his silly pranks. Though, like all cliches, she didn't see it. She didn't see it one bit, and the boy couldn't help but feel like he wanted to keep it that way. He feared the rejection he knew he'd get if he ever confessed his true feelings, so if pranks and silly jokes were the only way they'd ever cross paths ; then so be it.

"You look hot angry, Y/l/n." Winking, he gently pushed past her to grab his bag and walk off to class. The young girl watched, mouth agape, as he whistled. Whistled!

"I'll get you back for this, Black!" She yelled, causing the boy to grin and turn back to her. "I'll be waiting."

"I need your help." The exhausted girl turned to her friend as she anxiously bit her lip. Lea raised her eyebrows as she turned to the y/h/c haired girl.

"With what?"

Y/n sighed as she ruffled her, now dry, hair. Cracking her neck as she clasped her hands together. "I need help pranking Sirius Black."

Lea immediately shook her head as her eyes widened. "Are you crazy?!" She gasped as the other girl shook her head, motioning for her to be quiet. She needed a plan, a bloody good one at that.

"I just need to get back at him for his pranks on me!" She whined as her friend shook her head in amusement. "I don't even know why you get so fired up by them. Can't you see his pranks are so held back when it comes to you?" Lea chirped as she grinned at her, teasing the girl.

"Stop! A prank is a prank." She mumbled as her cheeks heated up. Truth was, she had always admired Sirius from afar. His pranks were always genius and hilarious, and when she became his target, she didn't know how to feel. "C'monnn. Help me. Just this once. Please?" She whines as she gives her friend the "puppy eyes", as muggles call them.

"Fine. But you can't complain!" Lea smirked as the other girl just stared at her in confusion. She couldn't help but feel that she was getting just as mischievous as Sirius is. Nonetheless, she had hesitantly agreed.

"Give it back! C'mon I mean it!"

He had been walking down the halls as he heard the familiar voice plea. His brows furrowed as he could hear the desperation in her voice. His feet had hurriedly rushed to take him to the sound of the voice as he tried to navigate through the large halls of Hogwarts faster than he ever has.

"Aw, poor Y/n doesn't want me reading her diary, does she?" The sound of another boy's voice caused his heart to tighten as he figured it out. Someone else was teasing his Y/n.

"Just give it back you nasty git!" He smiled, hearing his girl defending herself as he assesed what he could do. He watched the boy hold up her diary above his head as he casually walked behind him; swiftly grabbing the girl's notebook and shutting it gently.

"You sure are confident picking on someone who isn't your size." Sirius raised his brow as he stood in front of the girl. Her eyes widened as he came into her line of vision. His back was tense as he held her diary behind his back, motioning slightly for her to take it back. She frowned at his actions as she slowly took it from his hands.

"What's it to you? You don't share?" The older boy laughed as he shoved him backwards, though he held his ground. Scoffing, Sirius smirked as he cracked his knuckles.

"Look, boy," He growled as he stepped towards him confidently. "You touch one hair on her head, the only light you'll see is green, got that?" He grinned as he watched fear slowly creep into the other boy's eyes. Hearing the slight incantation from his friends, he smiled, watching the scene unfold.

"What the fuck?!" The older boy yelled as his robes had transformed into a pretty pink dress. Sirius chuckled as he watched the older boy run off in embarassment. He turned to the girl as she stared at him in shock.

"W-wha..." She uttered in shock, her diary hanging loose from her hands. Sirius side eyed his friends, watching as they silently hollered and grinned at him before leaving them alone. He sighed and turned back to her, his eyes immediately focusing on the pink tint spread across her cheeks.

"Are you alright? He didn't read anything, did he?" He voiced, his tone incredibly soft and gentle, catching the girl off guard.

"What... Why did you--?" She couldn't help but stutter as she tried to wrack her brain for a reason as to why he had defended her. He chuckled at her confused state as he came close and tucked a hair behind her ear, letting his finger caress her cheek ever so softly.

"I like you, Y/l/n." He sighed, feeling the large weight leaving his chest. Her eyes widened as her cheeks flamed. He liked... Her?

"No way." She whispered, dropping her diary onto the floor with a thump. He laughed, embarrassed. She watched in amazement as his cheeks flamed pink, matching hers.

"Sorry. It felt like the right moment, and..." He trailed off, scratching his nape. He didn't know why he had felt the need to confess to her right then and there, but he did. She knows. And now she's going to reject him.

"I... I like you too. I-I have for a while now, actually." She whispered, shying away from his gaze.

What. The. Hell.

The boy's eyes widened as she cowered away from his sight. His lips curled up into a wide smile as he snaked his hands around her waist, wasting no time to pull her close to him.

"Can I do this?" He whispered as their faces were now closer than ever. She nodded as he leaned his forehead onto hers. "I've been waiting for this moment all my life." He grinned as she scoffed and lightly hit him across his shoulder.

"You git, why didn't you say anything?" She laughed as she closed her eyes. Being in his arms felt like home. He was her missing piece and vise versa. They both knew that, now.

"I was scared you'd reject me." He smiled sheepishly as she giggled, shaking her head.

"Okay, I get it now." She smiled as she opened her eyes to meet his; almost immediately getting lost in them. He smiled so softly, she was almost taken aback by how good he looked. The mischievousness and amusment nowhere to be seen.

Splash!

The two had stared at each other, their robes and hair now completely drenched. The girl erupted in giggles, her prank just now coming back to the front of her mind. She laughed so heartily, only further confusing the boy. "What just happened?"

Smiling, the girl laughed before replying, "I got you, Black."
