A/N: Sup! It's a double update y'alll. Not counting the A/N though lol okay hope y'all enjoy. I like this one better than the other one :')

It was approaching the yule ball. Your boyfriend, Y/bf, hasn't asked you to the ball yet. You knew he would take you, but you still wished he would ask you anyway. You smiled slightly when you saw him sitting alone.

"Hey babe!" You smiled and kissed his cheek. He smiled slightly back at you, causing yours to falter.

"Do you want to maybe... hang out?" You asked hopefully.

"Uhm... No, sorry babe. I have to be somewhere. Next time maybe?" He pecked you on your lips and rushed away. You sighed, feeling defeated. He's been so distant lately, that you couldn't help but feel so insecure.

You were never treated right. Your boyfriends either just dumped you, or they cheated on you. You never thought you'd feel so unloved, but right now? You just do.

Sighing, you got up and decided to spend the evening in your dorm.

It was the day before the Yule ball. Y/bf still hasn't asked you. You already have your dress, yet you weren't even sure you were going. Finally getting fed up with what Y/bf was doing, you stormed out of your dorm to find Y/bf. You were walking down a hallway, when you heard giggles.

"Oh baby, when are you going to dump her?" You peeked around the corner to see a blonde being pushed up against the wall by a boy. Not that you cared, you were about to turn away when the boy spoke.

"Soon baby, soon."

You knew that voice all-too-well. Your eyes burned as your heart clenched. The hallway suddenly feeling smaller than when you first got there. Your heart pounded against your chest as you ran back to your dorm.

"Babe?"

You turned around wearing your y/f/c dress. Your eyes were most likely rimmed red as you turned to see Y/bf.

"Have you been crying? What-"

"Don't act like you don't know, Y/bf." You muttered quietly. You kept your gaze on the ground, willing yourself not to cry.

"If you didn't love me like you said you did, you could've just told me." You continued, biting your lip to hold in your sobs.

"Y/n plea-"

Your left hand went to your right, as you slipped off his promise ring he gave to you, on your 5 month anniversary. Your hand slipped it into his. You started to walk by him.

"I hope she can give you what I couldn't."

And with that you walked passed him and went for the Great Hall.

You were standing at the drink bar, holding a glass of punch. You stared at it, not feeling exactly thristy. You had just watched Y/bf dance with the blonde. You didn't want to be there. You wanted to run away, curl up in a ball, and die.

"Hey stranger."

You looked up and saw the one and only Draco Malfoy. The corner of your lips tugged up a bit, seeing your best friend since childhood.

"Hey." You smiled as you hugged him. His grey eyes seemed to bore into your y/e/c ones. He frowned as he noticed your red eyes.

"Are you alright? Why are you alone? Have you been crying? Why..." he continued on rambling. Always being over protective of you. You chuckled a bit as you put your finger up to his lips to shush him.

"I'm alright. It's just been... a rough week." You smiled slightly.

He took your punch, set it down, took your hand and began to lead you out of the Hall.

"I know you're not alright. You're just trying to stay strong, because other people are around you." You smiled, knowing he would always be there for you, he would always be the one to care.

You both sat down on the floor of one of the hallways.

"You, my dear Y/n, now shall explain." He looked straight at you.

"It's simple really. Y/bf cheated on me. No surprise there. Also, I found out yesterday. I don't understand Draco. Am I that unlovable? That I make the guys that I date want to cheat, want to break up?" You hadn't realized you were crying until after you finished your mini rant. You laughed a bit and wiped your tears.

"Sorry this is so pathetic."

Suddenly you were pulled into Draco's embrace.

"No. You are not unlovable. You are not pathetic. You are everything but. You're pretty, smart, amazing and most of all the most lovable person I know. You can cry if you want to you know?" He cradled you in his lap.

That was when you snapped.

You let all the pain, the heartbreak you suffered for so long. You hugged Draco so tightly, you were sure you broke a bone or two.

Exhaustion was starting to invade your body. Right before your eyes shut, you felt lips on your head and a soft voice speak.

"I love you, my Y/n."
