"Alright, everybody. We have a new creature to tackle today." Hagrid announced as he clasped his hands together.

Harry, Ron and Hermione stood there, watching him closely.

"Y/n? You can come out now."

As Hagrid said that, the sound of feathers rustling was heard. A figure flew down majestically, as midnight black wings appeared in front of the students. Everyone in the class let out an audible gasp. The creature stood up straight and turned around.

Harry was shocked. The girl was beautiful.

From her y/h/c hair, to her y/e/c eyes. She had an emotionless mask covering her face as her wings folded neatly on her back. Her eyes skimmed the crowd, although they stopped at Harry. Her eyes seemed to show shock, but her face remained the stoic.

"Everyone, this is Y/n."

All the students smiled and waved, cautiously trying to get near her.

Hagrid looked at Y/n as she didn't move from her spot. A ghost of a smirk appeared on her pink lips.

Her wings extended and she flapped them slightly. The force of her wings caused all of them to stumble back slightly. The girl let out an angelic laugh ss she smirked at all of them.

"Y/n. Behave." Hagrid warned and Y/n turned and looked at him, nodding slightly before returning to her stoic facade.

"Y/n here, is a Hybrid. She is half witch/human and half bird, hence her wings." Hagrid explained.

"Her wings are made of cotton like material, making them extra soft." Hagrid nodded at Y/n, to which she sighed and wrapped herself up in her wings.

"Go on, you can touch it." Hagrid gestured for them to come closer.

Y/n felt uncomfortable with everyone rubbing and groping her wings but put up with it for the class.

Everyone backed away with an awestruck look on their faces.

"Hybrids, Y/n's kind, can fly up to 25 ft in the air."

With that Y/n smiled and unraveled her wings and flew up with ease. Her wings flapping gently, almost gracefully. Y/n spun, wrapped herself in her wings and dropped herself until she was above the students, then opened up her wings, causing her to lift back up into the air. They all looked up at her, amazed. She laughed and lowered herself to the ground. Claps sounded from the class. To which, Y/n smiled slightly and bowed.

"Thank you, Y/n. That will be all. Class dissmissed!"

All the students started to disperse, walking off to their next class. Although, Y/n couldn't help but watch a certain raven-haired boy walk away with his friends.

Harry, Ron and Hermione were all sitting next to a tree. They were all making small talk, when the tree suddenly was hit with a very powerful spell.

"Oh, bloody hell! Sorry!"

The three turned and saw Y/n standing there. She was slowly approaching them smiling sheepishly.

"I didn't see you three until after I fired the spell..." She eyed Harry slightly but quickly turned to look at Hermione.

"You guys were in Hagrid's class weren't you?" She tilted her head slightly as her eyes scanned all three of them.
