CHAPTER FIFTEEN

╰☆╮

ITS BEEN DAYS SINCE RAVEN HAD SEEN DAYLIGHT OR HAS SEEN ANY OF THE WINCHESTERS FACE OR GOT TO HEAR THE IMPALA'S PURR AND SHE MISSED IT. All she was fed was burgers and shakes even after she told the angels she was a vegan. Thanks to them, Raven forgot what being a vegan meant and stuffed her face in those bacon cheeseburgers. They gave her nothing to entertain herself so all she could do was sit around and stare at the wall which was beginning to drive her insane.

"Can you fools just let me go! Jesus Christ, I'm going insane here!" Raven shouts standing up from her spot, she looked around expecting an angel to pop in or something but no one showed. Raven cried out angrily and threw the chair against the wall but it didn't break like she expected it to causing her to frown. She couldn't even break a chair properly. Staring at the chair, Raven gives up and grabs the chair she threw at sits down on it a pout present.

Groaning loudly, Raven slumps in her chair and stares at the wall in front of her nothing but the silent ringing in her ear. It's not until her stomach growls in hunger that she realizes they haven't fed her in hours. Placing at hand to calm her hunger the sound of wings fluttering cause Raven to jolt up but no one shows up, instead a leather book is placed on the table.

"Hello?" Raven calls out, looking around to find no one in the room but her. She frowns and leans over for the book. It was old but not ancient, maybe a couple years give or take but nothing too extreme. The cover had the words 'antiquo sanguine' craved on the book, it sent chills down her spine knowing that the language was Latin. She might not know how to read it but she was able to recognize the writing.

The book was bulging and multiple papers were sticking out, Raven turned the book over looking for any signs of author or some type of note that hopefully the stupid angel left behind but there were no signs of notes or that the book has been tampered with. Up close, the book did in fact look ancient, it smelled like leather and that sweet smell of old books. Raven lifted her head looking around the empty room before opening the book, the first page had the words 'nec spe, nec metu' but right under those in parenthesis it had, 'χωρίς ελπίδα, χωρίς φόβο'. It didn't take a genius to know it was both Latin and Greek.

The hard part was knowing what the hell the words meant. Raven took a Spanish class in high school but that was only because she was forced to otherwise, she wouldn't have taken a language. Raven came from a Greek descendant but it wasn't like her father had raised her learning their mother tongue, or at least she doesn't remember.

Flipping to the next page there was a small note freshly written, she could assume it was the angel called Zachariah. Wherever that angel was at Raven was going to kill him for having Castiel rip her away from her only home. And the words he left behind weren't exactly the type to leave a good impression on the girl. "They say anyone who looks into their family history will find a secret sooner or later."
