CHAPTER THIRTY EIGHT

AFTER SAM AND DEAN died, went to heaven, and came back after what seemed like five minutes, Raven was happy that she got to skip that with them, having been with Bobby that day to help her translate the book. They both were able to finish translating the spells but none of them were useable, mainly because it required blood from an ancient one and as far as everyone is concerned, Raven is human. They even tested one of the spells and it didn't work, proving that Raven is human. At least for the time being but as she sits in the backseat of the impala, she begins to question if she's even alive.
The car swerves once again as Dean takes a sharp turn causing Raven to grip the seat tightly, a scream of surprise ripping through her lips. They were driving away from a huge group of demons that had them cornered, they're all covered in blood and injuries but Raven can't focus on that as she's trying her best to keep her lunch down.
From ahead, a fire is blocking their exit and Dean presses on the brakes as hard as he can. Raven's body flies forward but she grabs ahold of the seat before anything serious happens. Dean swears under his breathe and begins to back up but the window beside Raven breaks and a hand reaches out for her. Raven reaches for the knife in her pocket but she's too slow as a hand grabs a fistful of her hair and drags her out through the window.
"Let me go!" Raven shouts biting on the arm to which the demon responds by throwing her down on the street. Two seconds later, before the demon is able to do anything to harm her, a group of people begin to spray large amounts of holy water on the demon and reciting a exorcism, the demons yell out in pain.
Raven scrambles on her feet the second the demons are exorcised and the two brothers make their way out of their car. Dean runs over to her and questions if she's okay, Raven nods her head reassuring him that she's perfectly fine. Sam and Dean make their way towards the group but two steps towards them and something in the pit of Raven's stomach stirs.
She couldn't focus on the conversation as her lunch kept trying to come up every other second and just as they were departing, Raven couldn't hold it in any longer. Turning away from the group with her back facing them, she vomits all over the road, emptying her stomach out as someone holds her hair back. It wasn't hard to hear the disgusted nosies the others made but she didn't care and let's everything out. Who knew she had so much to empty out.

When the three of them arrive to small quarantine town, they stumbled upon a wedding, and although Raven could still taste the vomit in her mouth, she kept her mouth shut and watched the wedding. It was short and quick, expected as they're currently going through a war. Nonetheless, Raven found herself smiling through it the whole time, thoughts about getting married herself swimming around but it was nothing but a dream for now. To their surprise, eight weddings have happened in the last week.
