CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE

╰☆╮

AFTER THE RAPHAEL SITUATION, DEAN had gone to the future due to Zachariah and his nonstop agenda to get Dean to say yes, and after some time Dean had managed to tell Raven what he saw. She was dead. Castiel wasn't an angel. Future Dean was an asshole. And Sam, well, Sam was Lucifer's vessel. The whole thing sounded unreal and she couldn't even began to wrap her head around the whole mess. Not only had she died but Sam had said yes to the devil. That's not who Raven knew at all. Sam wouldn't say. He couldn't.

Shaking her head, Raven attempts to forget the things Dean had told her and focus on now. Which, included Sam joining them back again and she was more than happy to have him back. Not only did she spill about Pandora's appearance but also gushed about how awesome she was and the whole time, Sam was smiling, the blonde's face making its way to his head. That only confirmed her suspicions. Pandora and Sam had or even have something going on.

The three of them had landed a case somewhere in Ohio; the man's head collided with the windshield but the thing was, the car was parked. Even if Raven was still brand new to the whole hunting thing, she knew it wasn't anything normal nor did it sound like something a human would do. So, the three dressed up in their Fed suits, a bright smile on Raven's face as she stands in front of the officer.

They two brothers were showing the same bright smile as Raven but it didn't matter because standing between the two brothers, it felt right. Sam and Dean were still a little rocky but she was happy to have them back together. Seeing Dean hurt by his brothers actions didn't sit well with Raven and she could only imagine what Sam was feeling. After their fight, their argument, their mistrust.

The officer in front of them apologizes for their long travel and states they already captured the culprit. Of course, they weren't convinced and wanted to know everything so, he led them down to a room. The video that Cal's best friend took playing on the small tv in the room. The sound of screaming at the end of video cuts into static and Raven bites down on her lip still unconvinced that Jim, Cal's best friend, killed him.

"Sicko taped his own handiwork," The officer, Rick, states pausing the tv, shaking his head. Raven's mouth forms into an 'O', her eyes flickering in the room as she tries to comprehend why they thought Jim would commit the murder.

Sam tapped his knuckles on the table, sharing a confused look with his brother and Raven, "I don't follow."

"It was Jim Grossman that killed Cal," Rick says monotonous like it was the most obvious thing in the world. The officer had no proof that Jim killed Cal but the video in their possession and if Raven was being honest, it was bullshit. Whatever system they were going by was bull. The man didn't need to be locked up for witnessing and capturing his own friends death on camera.
