CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

╰☆╮

DEAN REFUSED TO HELP WITH FIGURING OUT THE WHOLE ANCIENT BLOOD SITUATION AND BOBBY HAD SIDED WITH DEAN ON THIS ONE. Leaving Raven to sit at Bobby's desk and figure the translation out by herself. It was obvious that Bobby didn't like the whole thing especially since Sam had demon blood and that wasn't working out but he didn't stop Raven from figuring it out. He had provided with her books and left her to it as he went to the next room to talk to Dean in private, they needed a talk anyways. After Sam and everything, he really needed to talk to him.

The shouting from the other room went ignored by Raven however, she did flinch at the words that were thrown around but other than that, she drowned herself in the books. Her vision kept going blurry when she stared at the book for too long and translating was a lot harder than she thought. Certain words made absolutely no sense to her and the books didn't help so in the end, Raven was on her own.

Groaning to herself, Raven slams the book shut and puts her head down on the table. The pounding headache was enough for her. The small note that laid across from her caused Raven to frown, maybe it was best to leave it alone. Everything that Dean said was right, Raven can leave the life behind but at what cost? Sam and Dean obviously couldn't handle themselves alone and with an amateur hunter things would go haywire but she was willing to try.

After having a mental talk to herself Raven breathes in and opens the books back up, ready to try and figure out what the hell she was and what ancient blood is. Raven bites down on her pen, staring at the book as the Latin and Greek words made itself known on the page. Her pen moved as she kept her gaze on the words making sure she didn't lose her spot.

"Raven!" The sound of Bobby's shouts cause her to jump and write a line through the words she had scribbled down. Raven sighs loudly, rubbing her face as she put down the pen ready to shout back but Bobby comes in the room looking around frantically before his eyes land on her, "Oh good! You're still here!"

"Umm why wouldn't I be?" Raven questions leaning back in her seat. The look on Bobby's face causes her to sit up instantly, swallowing harshly as a lump forms in the back of her throat, "Bobby, what's wrong? Where's Dean?"

"He's gone."

─── ⊹ ───

Raven paces around one hand running through her hair as the other was dialing Dean's number but all she kept getting was voicemail. After Bobby told her that Dean disappeared out of nowhere, she knew who was behind this. Castiel. He had done it before and she had her money that he had took Dean to the same room she had gone to. As Raven called Dean's cell again, she was left with the sound of his voice, "Dean, I swear to god if you don't answer your phone, I'm going to make sure you don't ever hear the end of this."
