Today was our last day in Hawaii.

Correction, it was my last day. Everyone one else would be leaving tomorrow morning, I have to leave tonight since school starts back up tomorrow. Taehyung decided to miss filming for a few hours so he could take me on a date.

We talked while we walked to the restaurant.

"I can't believe I'm not gonna be with you for 3 months." I muttered. "I'm going to be so lonely."

"What about your friends?"

"Oh, they uhm... they dropped me." He turned to me surprised. "Yeah. Apparently I'm not one of them anymore, I'm purely BTS." I looked down at our intertwined hands.

"Oh, babe, I'm so sorry."

"It's fine. I have you guys and that's all I need." A smile grew on my face.. He threw his arms around me and brought me into a hug. He pulled away and stared into my eyes for a few seconds before speaking.

"Come on, we're almost there."

He decided a Hawaiian BBQ would be the best choice of food since this was my last meal here. Apparently he tried to find a couples luau but there was none this early in the afternoon. The restaurant we ended up going to was very open. The birds were chirping and the whole place was surrounded by big beautiful hibiscus flowers.

I quickly checked my phone again for a message from my parents but was met with nothing. Not one text or call this entire trip, they didn't even answer when I tried to call. I hope they're alright. Taehyung must have saw my disappointed expression and randomly changed the subject.

"They have this big plate of food here. It's just like a little bit everything they have, we should get that." He said excitedly.

"Sounds good to me."

While we waited for our food we made small talk. We talked about Yeontan and school and our future. At one point he started talking about a family and I could see the sparkle in his eyes leave before changing the subject. I know he said he was fine with not having biological kids but I can tell it made him sad.

The food finally arrived and we happily ate it. Taehyung face was covered in BBQ sauce when we finally finished. I leaned over the table and helped him wipe it off, earning me a large box smile from him.

"I'm so lucky I'm your girlfriend." I swooned.

"I can say the same thing about you." He reached out and took my left hand in his. His attention went from me to my hand and back to me quickly. "Someday I will replace that ring with a wedding ring. Mark my words (y/n) (l/n), you will be my wife." He paused. "You know what.." He stood up and turned to the restaurant.

"Taehyung what are you doing?"

"Everyone," He gathered the attention of the strangers. I could see a group of teenagers pull out their phones and begin recording. "I want to make my promise public." He spoke in perfect english. "I promise that someday I will make this beautiful girl my fiance." I uncontrollably started to blush as the 'aw's spread across the crowd. He sat back down and faced me.

"I love you." I said, my cheeks still burning.

"I love you more."

...

The time had come to take me to the airport and all of the boys came to say goodbye. Their manager went to check me in while we waited, making conversation for the camera.

"This feels like Bon Voyage season 1 when Namjoon had to leave early." Jin cried while wrapping his arms around me.

"Yah, why did you have to bring that up!" Namjoon whined.

"Because it's true." Jimin rested his head on my shoulder.

"Try not to fail anymore classes this time." Suga mocked.

"Ow, that really hurts." I threw my hand over my heart pretending to be in pain.

"He's got a point though. We need you to graduate so you can come home." Namjoon started hugging me which caused the rest of the boys to join in on the group hug. Their manager came back and held out the ticket to me. A wave of sadly went through me, this is it.

"I already put your suitcase into baggage claim so you can go straight to security." He half smiled.

"Thanks." I bowed. Turning back to the rest I took one last long look at each of them. "I'll see you guys soon." I began backing up and blowing air kisses to all of them. Jin, Jhope, and Jungkook all reached out and grabbed them. The camera crew started walking to the exit, signalling the boys it was time to leave.

"Wait! (y/n)!" Taehyung ran over to me and pulled me into one last tight hug. "Text me as soon as the plane lands, okay?" I nodded. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a piece of paper. "Don't open it until you're in the air." His box smile appeared on his face. With one last kiss he ran off to join the others.

My ticket was set up like the boys were. I got to speed past the large line of people waiting for security and go straight to my gate. Our large goodbye took a lot of time so I only had 15 minutes before the plane started to board. I bought a bag of my favorite candy and a bottle of water before returning to the gate.

"Flight 87236 to Los Angeles will be boarding first class passengers." The lady over the intercom spoke. The scanned my ticket and made my way to my seat. After making myself comfortable I opened the window and stared off at the scenery. It took awhile for the plane to get fully loaded but we took off almost immediately after they closed the doors.

After the announcement came on that we could use our electronics i started digging through my bag for my phone, the white folded piece of paper Taehyung gave me laid right on top of it.

I took it out and unfolded it and began to read his letter.

(y/n),

I love you. I know I say that a lot but I mean it. I never thought I could love someone this much. Everything you do makes me fall for you more and more. Like when you baked a cake for Jimin's birthday but ended up spilling the flour all over the floor, or when we took you bowling and you pouted until we agreed to let you have bumpers. No matter what you do or what you say it adds to your loving and crazy personality that all 7 of us adore.

While I perform I tend to doze off, my mind goes somewhere else while my body keeps dancing. Every single time, without fail, I think about the first time we watched the stars together. When the barrier broke and you saved me from the mob of fangirls. There was maybe 2 stars out that night but we sat on top of your beaten up car and watched the sky.

Honestly, I didn't believe in true love. I wanted to, I really did. But I would see the kind of relationships my hyungs got into and thought that there was no hope for me. Until I met you.

(y/n) (l/n) I love you so much my heart feels like it will explode just by the mention of your name. I wouldn't be me without you.

It's hard being away from you. I hate when you're not around. But no matter what I'll wait for you because honestly I don't want anyone else.

You will always have my heart, where ever we are, whatever we are doing. I will love you.

~ Kim Taehyung

I fought the tears that tried to escape. A stupidly big smile spread across my face as I held the note to my heart. How did I get so lucky.
