I slowly open my eyes and looked around my room letting out a small yawn before sitting up in my bed and straightening out my long black hair. A smile worked up to my face as I had climbed out of bed and headed towards my closet to find an outfit for today because I am finally and thankfully eighteen. It doesn't feel like much since I no longer age but I'm still excited.
Elena's not even close to being excited about our birthday because we still haven't found Stefan, we have been searching all summer long and we still haven't found anything, I'm not saying we should give up, I would never do that to Stefan considering his been there for me every time Ive needed him but it's like all Elena focus's on lately.
She has been driving herself crazy all summer while I've been working on controlling my hunger and rebuilding myself and I finally have. I don't feel like I did before, I am happier now and I actually feel good about myself.
After picking out an outfit the day I smiled and stripped from my clothes before tossing on the outfit. It was a pair for black skinny jeans, a navy blue top, black high heels, a brown leather jacket and my brown bag.

After finishing getting dressed I walked into the bathroom and did my makeup, brushed my teeth, and curled my hair. Once I was done getting ready I smiled at my reflection and walked out of the bathroom, I grabbed my bag, tossed it over my shoulder before heading out of my room and down the stairs.
I paused before backing up towards Elena room and I popped my head into her room to see her laying on her bed staring at nothing and I let out a sigh.
"Happy birthday twinnie!" I suddenly yelled before jumping into her bed and she let out a giggle as the bed bounced making her body fly up. I guess that's what happens when vampire use a lot of their strength.
"Hey." Elena spoke weakly and I sighed out as I looked over at her.
"Come on, don't be so glum. We're eighteen today, finally." I spoke and she sighed before nodding her head with a smile and she quickly sat up in her bed tying her hair up into a messy bun making me raise an eyebrow at her new birthday look.
