When Cui Rong was brought back to Zhong Yi's courtyard few people were made aware of it. Of course there were two people who had been keeping their eyes on Zhong Yi but the other, surprisingly, was Consort Mei Ren. One of her maids had been having a 'rendezvou' with a Guard standing watch to the 1st Prince's courtyard. As soon as Zhong Yi had ordered the execution of his head maid, Consort Mei Ren's maid had covered her mouth in shock before peaking inside to witness.

She'd nearly screamed when she saw the fairy-like 1st Prince and had immediately run back to tell her Lady about the strange event. Consort Mei Ren hadn't believed her so she sent her most trusted maid to observe and wait. Consort Mei knew that the poison would prevent him from losing weight so how did he gain such a beautiful face and figure? (Did the servants call the Consorts, Lady, and the Empress, Madam? Or did I get this wrong? If anyone knows please tell me. This is the first time writing a plot based in Ancient China.)

Zhong Yi ignored the people in the surroundings and began instructing the maids to clean the empty room in the courtyard for Cui Rong to use. This was simply unheard of to allow a servant to sleep within the Prince's courtyard but they didn't dare say anything after the Head Maid had her head chopped in front of them.

Cui Rong seemed to notice this as well but ignored it in favor of eating some osmanthus cakes that a maid had begged the cook to give her. Usually the servants of first prince didn't bother asking the chef for food to give the first prince but today they cried and knelt on the ground for an hour before the chef finally relented. He had been preparing osmanthus cakes for the Lantern Festival that was taking place tomorrow.

"Dweez aw dewicuz," Cui Rong spoke while food spit from his mouth. Coupled with his dirty appearance and the fact that he was a servant, the maid who had torturously knelt for an hour felt like either committing murder or seppuku. (These are delicious.)

Zhong Yi glanced at Cui Rong a flipped him a supercilious glance. He remembered that this guy was in major need of a bath and ordered the maids to prepare him some water.

The maids couldn't help but question if their Master had a pit in his brain. First he randomly became akin to a beautiful maiden, then kills the Head Maid for disrespecting him, and now he brings home a dirty beggar who ate his royal food but still ordered them to wash the filth off this beggar? It really made one dizzy thinking about it all.

Zhong Yi didn't mind what anyone within this courtyard thought since they had maltreated the original owner of this body previously.

[Host, how do you plan on training this guy? He seems like waste material. Are you sure he's good?]

'He's just a 'diamond in the rough' and needs to be shined a bit.'

Car ran her nonexistent eyes over the disgusting Cui Rong and couldn't help but say, [If you say so. I hold my doubts.]

Zhong Er was currently polishing his 'lucky' sword when Lei Liuxian walked through the gate to his courtyard. A few of the guards standing watch gave him a bow before returning to their upright position as though they'd never moved.
