I've got a few things to say:
I know I've been popping out Chapters pretty quickly but with that I've been slacking off with my other Novels. I'm not saying it's a bad thing but I love this Novel so much that it has begun forcing a Writer's Block on the Novels I was already writing. I may take a bit longer between Updates here. . or I may not. I'm honestly unsure how my mindset will be and whether I can keep up the updates at a fast clip with trying to juggle the other two Novels I already was writing.
Another thing, which I've already replied with but I will reiterate here; No, I'm not Filipino. I don't speak it or anything, so there will definitely be mistakes with any words I choose to use from that language. I chose a background plot similar to the Philippines merely for my Readers.
A lot of System Novels are either based around American or Chinese styles and names. However, I feel this is sort of unrealistic since a Soul can't determine which nationality or race they're from before entering the World they hop to. Which is why in previous Arcs I went with Chinese, Korean and Japanese names, to switch it up. This Arc isn't based in the Philippines because I would never be able to accurately convey how it is to live there and merely can devise an imaginary visual of the life my Readers live in the Philippines.
So, if you are from there and something in this Arc isn't what you've seen firsthand, it's merely because this is a made up world based off of your Island and not a true depiction.
I'm also doing this because within the percentage of my overall Readers: Second place, at about 20% of my overall Readers, live within the Philippines. Which is unbelievable to me since your island is so tiny in comparison to a lot of the other places that my Readers are spread out in; so I've decided to go with the Filipino names for the Protagonist of the plot et c. Merpeople will have their own Mermaid-like names though.
Anyways, I hope this explained a bit of what to expect and also cleared up any confusion. I'm sorry to my Filipino readers who wrote me comments in your language since I truly don't understand it. D:
