*Y/N P.O.V.*
You stormed out the doors of the party, not listening to anyone trying to talk you out of leaving. This was the last straw, you've had enough of this. All you wanted was a fun night off, to relax and only to relax. You came to this party with a good mood, yet you ended up getting every thing, but relaxing. Unwanted attention, unwanted embarrassment, unwanted feelings.
You were hurt, and you just wanted to run back to Katherine, but you definitely couldn't tell her what happened. You were suppose to keep your distance from Jungkook, not make him "save your day" and let him help you tie a mask, that you could do yourself. You definitely couldn't tell her you were hurt when you knew true reason of why he helped you. It wasn't saving the day, it was out of sympathy. And if Katherine knew you were hurt, she'd know you almost fell for him as well, making matters only worse.
It was late, and you didn't want to risk anything calling a cab. You decided to call Katherine to tell her you're not going home tonight, and going to the nearest hotel, and living there for a day. You'd be home by tomorrow. You pulled out your phone, dialing her number, waiting for her to respond.
"C'mon Katherine...Pick up, pick up, pick up..." You said under your breath.
Yet the phone started beeping. Where is she? How come she can't pick up her phone? You sighed and looked around, it was dark, only the street lights were on, most of the buildings had their lights turned off. Your phone was low on battery, and you didn't want to use it all up, in case of an emergency.
"Looking for something?" A voice made you turn back.
It was Taehyung, one of the other most hottest boys in the school. You never got to look at him closely, but now he was standing so close to you, you understood why. He was too good looking, for a human, it's impossible to have someone like him, what kind of genes does his parents have? You were stunned by his looks, that you forgot he even asked you a question."Are you alright?" He chuckled.
"What...Oh yes, I'm fine." You snapped back.
"What are you doing here? The party isn't over yet, shouldn't you be inside?" He asked, softly with his deep voice.
"I had enough for a night, and I'm looking for a hotel to stay." You sighed, recalling all the events.
"The nearest hotel is too far away to walk to. How about I take you to my place? You could stay there for a night." He offered. You shrugged at the idea staying in his house. He has a girlfriend, that's for sure, you didn't even need to ask, and looking back at what happened with Jungkook's girlfriend, the last thing you needed was another girl calling you out like that.
"Uh...no thanks, I guess I'll jus call a cab home." You said, forcing a smile.
"It's late, calling a cab might be dangerous. C'mon, I won't harm you, and there's no one in my place. You can leave first thing in the morning if you don't feel good. At least it's better than going home alone, especially in this hour." He said.He was right, and Taehyung never did anything bad, or his reputation would have crashed. You looked around, making sure you didn't miss any possible traces of a hotel, but he was right, there wasn't even one in your limited eyesight.
"Okay then...I guess I really don't have a choice." You sighed.
"Don't be so sad, I'm not that bad to hang around with." He laughed. You followed him back to his car, he helped you buckle up, making you flinch at the close distance between you two. You weren't really used being so close to guys, unless they grew up with you.
"I don't bite, don't be so scared." He teased.
"I...I'm not, you just took me by surprise." You lied.
"Tough night for you huh?" He said, while driving.
"I'd rather not talk about it..." you sighed. You didn't really want to go to school the next day. Knowing that this incident would have travelled to everyone's ears the next day, and seeing the evil looks on everyone's face.
"Is it okay if I stay at your place a little longer?" You asked, so scared that it was a whisper.
"Sure, if you want to. Don't you have any where else to go?" He asked.
"Yeah but...I can't really go back right now. I need to get my head straight first." You said, looking down at your hands.Yeah, you needed to get your mind off Jungkook, heal yourself from the knife he threw at your heart, make yourself prepared to face everyone in school, and come up with a lame excuse of why you didn't come home to tell Katherine. So much for "getting your head straight".
"Hmmm, Jungkook really hurt you didn't he?" He said, making you look up to him.
"What do you mean?" You tried to act as if you knew nothing.
"You can't act in front of me Y/N, we all saw what happened." He raised an eyebrow.
"It's just frustrating how he only helps me because he feels sympathy towards me. I don't need a stupid mask." You murmured under your breath.
"Don't let it bother you, Jungkook has problems of his own." Taehyung laughed."For instance, he's trying to find a way to get rid of Rebecca."
