My Friend's Ex//Jungkook FF

Chapter 39

*Y/N P.O.V.* 

  "Haha what?" You asked, not believing what you were hearing.
  "We don't know when, we don't know how, but Uncle has been keeping an eye out for Jungkook lately, and he says he has pictures of Jungkook's 'little girlfriend', we traced back Jungkook's latest activity, and found out that you were near him these past few days." Lisa explained.
  "So the only reason, I was chosen to do this, was merely because I was hanging around him frequently the days your uncle happened to be there?" You asked, laughing.
  "Yes basically. We had everything planned out for Jungkook, but our Uncle's sudden movements caught us off guard, so now our plans have been pushed away, sorry to bring you into all of this." Lisa sighed, shacking her head with a sad smile.

  You looked at Jungkook's mom, who was smiling warmly as she listened to Lisa explain everything. 

  "Are you up for this Y/N?" She asked.
  "I..." You started, not knowing what to say.

  This wasn't something you could just answer on the spot. So much had to be taken into consideration. First thing on the top of your head, Katherine. Oh god, what were you going to say to her if you agreed? Would she come and murder you? Would she just leave you? Another thing: Dating in general. You were still in college, you have so many possibilities to explore, if you agreed to this, you're basically saying your going to date Jungkook, until you don't know when.

  "What if I refuse?" You asked carefully.
  "It's going to be dangerous for both your family and ours." Jungkook spoke up.
  "I'm sorry what? How would it be dangerous for my family? We don't own a billion dollar company, as much I wished we did." You laughed.
  "We don't know what Uncle might do to get to us. And now, in his eyes, you and Jungkook are officially dating, he might do things to your family, or your friends even, we don't know." Lisa sighed.
  "Why on earth would he do that? I know nothing about the company, he can hold me hostage, and I wouldn't be able to tell him anything. Other than it's a billion dollar company." You said.
  "I'm just listing possibilities. He might not do it for all we know, but one thing's for sure: Uncle is the type that would do anything to get what he wants." Lisa replied, her expression serious.

  You were out of words. How did that little conversation with Jungkook's uncle turn into something this big? You should have just left or something. Honestly, it's all this stupid dinner's fault.

  You were deep in thought when Jungkook's mom went up and held you hand.

  "Look Y/N, I know it's a lot to take in, but agreeing would be the best decision you have for now. At least by doing so every thing you do would be safe under our family, and we would be able to protect you, and everyone around you that you care about." She said softly.
  "But..." You started, and then stopped.
  "Don't worry you don't have to make a decision right at this moment. You can have a week to think about it. I'm so sorry about involving you into this,  I would giving you longer to consider, but Jungkook's uncle is someone that doesn't waste time. If you somehow can make your decision before a week, please feel free to tell us." She said as she squeezed your hand.

  You nodded, and sighed.

  Well this is going to be fun isn't it? It seems here that the choices you have are: Agree, but betray Katherine, and maybe no more freedom of dating anyone. Or Disagree, but have everyone you care about consistently in potential danger. What a great way to leave things huh?

  "What should I do now? Could I go home or something?" You asked, tired of all of this.
  "Yes darling, Jungkook can escort you out." Jungkook's mom replied, with a sad but still warm smile on her face.

  You were walking to the door, as you felt someone grab you hand, you turn over and it's Lisa.

  "Y/N please consider to help us." She whispered in your ear.
  "I know...it's just that..." You shook your head helplessly.
  "You'd do us a big favor, we'd cover all your material needs, and school fees and everything, even things your family needs, like medical bills and stuff. We promise to not take anything from you as much as possible, just please..." She begged.
  "I just need time to think it through, and like weigh everything." You sighed.
  "We really need your help. As much as we don't want to get anyone involved, we won't come and beg for your help unless we really needed it." 

  You fell silent.

  "Plus, Jungkook has never been so serious about anyone coming over."
