It's the news every Chelyn shipper has been eagerly awaiting. Yesterday, Chris Wood confirmed via instagram that he and co-star wife Evelyn Somerhalder are expecting a baby boy.
With Evelyn and Chris back in Vancouver to start filming season four of Supergirl, Ian, Nina and their 10 month old son had flown to Vancouver to visit the happy parents to be and with their mothers and sisters having arrived two days before Nina and Ian. It was while their families and friends were there that Chris threw Evelyn a surprise baby shower at Stanley Park Pavilion where he took a snap of the cake (below) which went viral quickly.

The caption was simple yet it was beautiful. Evelyn posted the following image on her Instagram and it was also the first proper look at her growing bump.

Fans had gone wild asking when the baby will be due and the couple answered that baby Wood is due in early/ mid November which was only a month away. Not long to go everyone.
As if we hadn't been blessed enough as it is, Chris posted the picture below of Evelyn's silhouette standing beside a large window and we were once again blessed with a glimpse of her growing bump.

With only 2 months to go until their baby boy enters the world, it's safe to say that both Chris and Evelyn will be taking time off from the limelight soon. We can only hope that the couple's love for social media doesn't waver and they keep us updated until the birth.
