178. Real Life

"Alright do we have everything?" Chris asked as he walked into the living room where his wife and son were sitting and she nodded

"Yeah, I double checked everything so we can head out whenever" she replied and he nodded

"Alright then, let's get going. We don't want to miss our flight" he stated as he picked up their suitcases while Evelyn grabbed the diaper bag and car seat with Legacy and walked out of the house with Chris trialing behind with their things. With Supergirl still in hiatus for another month, the pair decided to go on a mini vacation before they are due to return to Vancouver so Evelyn could start filming again.

"Alright let's get on the road" Chris said once he was sitting in the driver's seat with Evelyn in the back with Legacy. Their pets were going to be staying with Ian and Nina in LA which was their first stop on their little trip due to them making plans to get together for Father's Day as they havent seen them since their holiday break in December.

"Are you ready to see uncle Ian and Aunty Neens?" Evelyn cooed as she tickled Legacy's belly making the 8 month old gurgle and slick his little legs making her chuckle

"I'll take that as a yes"

"How was your flight?" Ian asked a few hours later when he went to meet the family of three at the airport while Nina staid home with the kids

"It was good a bit tiring but what trip isn't?" His sister asked as she yawned making him smile and shake his head

"And yet you're planning on going on a four month trip to Europe after your stay here" he replied and she grinned

"You know it brother" she replied making the actor roll his eyes before shaking his head and grabbing a couple suitcases to help Chris while Evelyn took the car seat and diaper bag / carry on bag out of the airport and they were thankful that no fans surrounded them and asked the group for photos or autographs.

"Ready to get going?" Ian asked once the suitcases were in the trunk and he had climbed into the driver's seat with Chris sitting in the passenger seat with Evelyn in the back with Legacy

"You bet" the pair replied with Evelyn adding

"Can we get something to eat in the way first?"

"Sure what are you in the mood for?"

"Anything really as long as I get food in my stomach"

"Why did I even ask?" Ian asked with a chuckle as he pulled out of the airport parking lot and made his way to the exit before driving out and down the street towards the nearest fast food restaurant he can find.

"So what do you want?" Ian asked a few moments later when he pulled into a nearby Donkin Donuts and pulled towards the drive-thru to order

"I want two glazed donuts with a medium decaf caramel coffee with extra milk" Evelyn said giving her brother her order and after Chris and Ian both orders theirs and some food for Nina and Phoenix with Chris insisting he pay, they grabbed their food and made their way towards Ian's house.

"With it being 5 am you should get some sleep and we can catch up later on in the day" Ian said once he pulled into the driveway of his and Nina's house

"Sounds good" Chris said as then climbed out

"We'll get your suitcases later once you guys have gotten some decent sleep"

The pair nodded and after bidding Ian a see you later they climbed the stairs and made their way towards the guest bedroom and quickly got dressed into comfortable clothing and set Legacy down in his portable crib after giving him a bath and dressing him into comfortable clothing as well.

"Get some sleep because god only knows that when we wake up in a few hours that we're going to have a very busy day" Chris said as they laid down on the bed with content sighs

"You can say that again" Evelyn mumbles with a yawn as she laid her head on his chest

"Sleep tight and see you in a few hours love you"

"Love you too"

an : here's a new update sorry for the lack of..I've been having complete writer's block for this book and I don't know if I want to continue it or not...or maybe just do social media posts without the real life chapters I'll let me know what you guys think and please leave a vote/fan and comment
