152. Real Life

"Cant believe break is over" Evelyn said as she and Nina watched Ian and Chris carry their suitcases to their rented cars. The rest of the family had gone back to their respective homes a week before leaving Nina, Ian, Chris and Evelyn along with the kids and pets behind.

"Ugh don't remind me" Nina groaned making Evelyn laugh

"You're due to start filming your new series right?" Evelyn asked and Nina nodded with a hum as she glanced down at her 2 year old son who was playing with the rocks. The two babies were in their car seats at their feet fast asleep.

"And you go back to filming supergirl" Nina added and Evelyn hummed

"Yeah. I got the script for the episode last night and it looks like it's going to be intense" Evelyn replies and her sister in law raised a brow

"Yeah?" She asked and Evelyn nodded

"We'll be filming the trailer for the episode three days after we get back to Canada but the air date is still to be announced" Evelyn answered just as their husbands came up to them

"What are you ladies talking about?" Ian asked as he picked Phoenix off of the ground when the toddler held his arms up to him before he laid his head down on Ian's shoulder, "tired bud?" The buy nodded yawing making them smile, "them sleep buddy"

"We were just talking about how break ended so fast" Nina said answering Ian's question.

"It felt like we just got here and now we're all leaving and going out separate ways once we get to the airport" Chris said in agreement

"You guys need to come visit us sometime when you get the chance" Ian said as he rocked his son while rubbing his back as the small boy began to fall asleep in his arms

"And so do you. Specially when Nina gets time off from filming her new show" Evelyn said with a pintes finger and they smiled

"We'll be sure to come up and visit once filming schedules are in order" Nina promised

"Good, now let's get going before we kiss or flights back home" Chris said as he picked the carrier from the ground and Ian did the same with their daughter's carrier after handing Nina their sleeping son.

"Up you go" Evelyn said holding the trunk open for the dogs to get in before closing it and climbing in the back next to the baby as Chris climbed the front seat.

"Ready?" He asked and she nodded and with that Chris pulled out of their vacation rented house and drove out of the gates and down the road towers the airport with Ian trailing behind them.

"I'm going to head to the dressing room and get him to sleep" Evelyn said as they entered the building and Chris nodded giving her a kiss on the temple before she walked away with their son

"Hey" Chris looked up hearing the familiar voice of Chyler and smiled when he saw her make her way towards him

"Hey" he greeted her with a hug

"Where's Evie?" She asked with furrowed brows not seeing the blonde actress

"Dressing room getting Legacy to sleep" the actor replies and she nodded

"So how was your vacation?" She questioned as they walked over to the seating area and Chris smiled

"It was good. We went to Australia so it was a change of scenery for everyone" Chris replies

"I saw that. Phoenix seemed to be enjoying himself a lot" she said and Chris chuckled

"He did. We wanted to go the zoo everyday while we were there but ended up getting excited about swimming with the dolphins. We can't wait until Legacy is at that age so he can truly enjoy everything around him"

"You say that now but what until he's actually walking and rubbing then you'll wish he was still a baby" Chyler said with a chuckle as she remembered when she was in their shoes, "I remember wishing the same thing with my kids and now I wish they were still babies"

"Evie doesn't event want to think about Legacy growing up" Chris chuckled

"Well duh then that means he won't need me anymore"Evelyn said making Chyler bad Chris look over upon hearing Evelyn's voice to see her walking towards them with a now awake Legacy as he sucked on his hand

"He will always need sweetie no matter the age" Chris said and she sighed kissing the infants little forehead

"He'll be turning one this year" she muttered

"And we'll be celebrating one year of being married" Chris added making his wife smile

"And its been the best year of my life" Evelyn said with a smile making him lean over and give her a kiss on the lips 

"Alright lovebirds, you need to get changed will be filming soon" Chyler said with a chuckle and Evelyn groaned throwing her head back

"Ugh"

"The sooner you start the faster you'll be done and you and Chris can go home with the baby"

"Be back soon" Evelyn mutters handing Legacy to Chris who smiled

"And we'll be waiting"
