My Substitute Teacher || Jeon Jungkook

Chapter8: The Twist

*flash back*

Mina's P.O.V:

It was the second session and it was maths time, so Mr.Jeon came into the class with bags in his hands , it seemed like he was struggling by holding them by himself.

Mr.Jeon;
"Are going to sit there and watch me suffer with these bags?"

He didn't have to end his sentence till Jackson, Jisung and Daehwi stood up to help him.

Mr.Jeon:
"Well thank you!"
Then he opened the bags to reveal some croissants and the other bags had juice.

Mr.Jeon:
"Now each one come and pick up a Juice and a croissant."
No one moved , we were caught in a surprise.

Mr.Jeon;
"Are you deaf guys? Well the croissants
are very delicious when they are hot, so I'm going to eat mine."

Then he looked up and we were still caught ij a surprise so he decided to distribute it himself. He finished and went to his desk as he cleared his throat.

Mr.Jeon:
"Actually I know that you are surprised by my action right now which is totally normal for you guys to be surprised, but I wanted to apologize about what I've been doing the past days, it's not like it's really who I am , and I shouldn't be that cold or even give you a surprise exam or even make it that hard. It's just not who I am , I tried to be like a cold teacher so I could control the class,but I'm not like that , I really like to joke around and have fun, so I wish that we can get along with what we still have from the month."

A silence dominated the atmosphere when Jackson decided to speak up.

Jackson;
"Okay muscles."
Mr.Jeon started laughing at Jackson's comment.

Mr.Jeon:
"I knew that you were checking them out the whole time."

Jackson's face then dropped as he tried to deny it.
Jihee;
"Come on Jackson! You didn't like Mr.Jeon because he had real muscles unlike yours."

The whole class then started laughing as Jackson started to blush.
Jackson;
"Mine are more real than his!"

Mr.Jeon:
"Aaaaaa! Don't underestimate these babies."
He said as he showed both of his arm muscles.

Jihee:
"Well! How about we check who's better with an arm wrestling?"

Jackson;
"No no! I can't hurt my teacher, it would be rude."

Mr.Jeon;
"Well I hear an afraid chicken! Can you hear it guys?"
He started making a chicken sound as the class started to laugh.

Jackson;
"It's on man!"

They were seated on the desks and Daehwi was the judge.
Mr.Jeon:
"Are you ready to regret that you were borned?"

Jackson:
"Ohh! I was borned ready, not to regret the day I was borned, but to make others regret it."
It didn't take Mr.Jeon more than a second to win over Jackson. So it was just funny to see how Jackson's face changed in a split of a second. He turned pink.

Mr.Jeon;
"I'm sorry but I saw that already coming!"

Jackson:
"It's not over Mr.Jeon!"
He glared at him jokingly.

Mr.Jeon;
"We'll see about it."
He glared back
Mr.Jeon;
"And by the way don't call me Mr.Jeon anymore!I feel like an old farted man! Just call me Jungkook when we're alone."

*End of flash back*

Jihee:
"And the rest of the session was all jokes and he asked each one of us about their hobbies and we decided the nicknames too."

Y/N:
"Wow! I didn't see that coming from that Jungkook! And most of all from you Jackson."
He stopped chewing as he looked at you.

Jackson;
"What?"
He said with a full mouth.

Y/N:
"You hated him like he had killed a member of your family!"

Jackson;
"People change."

Mina:
"And regarding him, he changed to his real personality. "

Daehwi;
"Well I have to admit that he's the best and the coolest teacher ever!"

Jihee:
"I agree with you."

You went abit early with Mina to help Jackson out, since he was living by himself and he was going to cook everything. But to your shock he wasn't alone, Mr.Jeon was with him too. It looked like he was helping him.

Jackson:
"Look who do we have here!"

Y/N:
"Hey!"

You saw Mina greeting Mr.Jeon and he greeted her back with his bunny smile and he directly shifted his gaze to you.

Mr.Jeon:
"Hey Y/N."

Y/N:
"Hello Mr.Jeon."

Mr.Jeon;
"Ahh please just call me Jungkook."

Y/N:
"Okay..."
You paused.

Mr.Jeon;
"Okay what?"

Y/N:
"Ah! It's abit hard for me to get used to it."

Mr.Jeon;
"It's just as easy as it looks like Jung-kook!"
You giggled at how he was pronouncing his name then Jackson interrupted you both.

Jackson;
"You can teach her pronounciation later but right now we have work to do!"
You lefted your sleeves up to get to work and went into the kitchen to help.

Y/N:
"Okay Jackson what do you want me to do?"

Jackson;
"I'm good by myself Mina is helping me right now , ask Jungkook if he needs help."
You went to Jungkook as he was frying some meat on the stove.

Y/N:
"Do you want any help?"

Jungkook;
"Can you please hand me the salt?"

You took the salt and handed it to him, you stood beside him watching him as he was cooking, you weren't a good cook though.

Jungkook:
"Ahh Y/N, can you please watch the meat ? And when they're done add the boiled spaghetti so I can chop some vegetables for the salad. "

Y/N:
"Well, I'm really a bad cook , so can I chop the vegetables instead?"

Jungkook;
"Are you a fast in chopping?"

Y/N;
"Do you want the meat to get burned?"

He sighed as you both switched your tasks.

Jungkook;
"So what are good at ? Other than being a nerd."

Y/N;
"Unfortunately, It's the only thing I'm good at."

Jungkook;
"Are you kidding me?"

Y/N:
"I wish I was."

You both went silent.

Y/N:
"Aand,What about you?"

Jungkook:
"Huh?"
Y/N:
"What are you good at? Besides maths and irritating people."

You chuckled and so he did.

Jungkook:
"Well I'm good at sports."

Y/N:
"I see."

Jungkook:
"Huh?"

Y/N:
"I mean your body shows that."

Jungkook;
"I feel like someone was checking me out the whole time!"

Y/N:
"Whaaaat!C-come on I m-mean you like your clothes do show that."
He started laughing at you really getting embarrassed.

Jungkook:
"I'm kidding why are you stuttering that much?"

You were thinking what to reply when you felt the knife cutting your index, it sparkled at the first moment making you scream.

Y/N:
"Ahhh!"
